Mumbai, February 5 - The much-awaited sequel Bhagam Bhag 2 is moving forward with a major cast shake-up as Manoj Bajpayee is reportedly stepping into a key role originally associated with Govinda. The development marks an interesting casting choice, bringing together Bajpayee with Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal for the comedy sequel. According to the report by Variety India, the makers have locked Manoj Bajpayee as part of the principal cast, replacing Govinda, who was one of the main characters in the original film. While Govinda's involvement never materialised, Bajpayee's inclusion is expected to add a fresh comic dynamic to the franchise. 'Bhagam Bhag 2' Officially Confirmed

Mumbai, November 23 - The sequel to Akshay Kumar, Govinda, and Paresh Rawal's comedy entertainer Bhagam Bhag has officially been confirmed after the news first broke out recently. The OG trio will return to headline the second instalment. ## It was reported that rights for the sequel were recently acquired from Shemaroo Entertainment by Sarita Ashwin Varde of Roaring River Productions, who has also been simultaneously working on the film's script. It will be co-produced by Shemaroo. ## The producer stated that Bhagam Bhag 2 will be funnier and madder than before and added, "A special film like Bhagam Bhag deserves a sequel that’s just as much special; when the time was right, we decided to take the plunge". The film was a box office hit and earned a cult status with immense popularity over the years. ## Over the last couple of years, the chatters regarding the sequels to iconic comedy films have been gaining momentum and Bhagam Bhag is one of them. While the sequels to some of the classics are already in development, Akshay Kumar has reportedly acquired rights to the Bhagam Bhag sequel as with the original cast. ## According to the report by Pinkvilla, Akshay Kumar has acquired the rights for this comic caper from Shemaroo as he intends to make its second part soon. "Earlier, Every Film Would Get Equal Opportunities In Theatres", Says Govinda Who Opens Up On Nepotism And More

The ongoing debate on nepotism and favoritism in the Bollywood industry which sparked after the demise of a 34-year old talented actor Sushant Singh Rajput is gaining momentum. While several actors have already put their views on this burning issue, the latest to join the debate is veteran actor Govinda. ## Speaking to Hindustan Times in his latest interview, Govinda opens up about his struggles in the industry and the movie mafia who dictate their terms about how the industry will function and more.## "Earlier whoever was talented, got work. Every film would get equal opportunities in theatres. But now, there are four or five people who dictate the whole business. They decide if they want to let films of those who aren’t close to them, release properly or not. Some of my good films also didn't get the right kind of release. But, things are changing now", Govinda said.## While nepotism is a well known aspect of the industry, there is another burning question which making noise is if star kids and industry insiders have easy access because of favoritism than people with no filmy connections? Govinda, who is the son of late actress Nirmala Devi and Arun Kumar Ahuja, says that it is not the case entirely in Bollywood.## Despite having the filmy background, Govinda recapitulate that he too had his share of struggle and wait for hours to meet filmmakers as the scenario had changed by the time he became an actor.## "There was a gap of 33 years between them (his parents) leaving the film industry and me becoming an actor at 21. So by the time I entered the industry, many new producers had come who didn't know much about my origination. I had to wait for hours to meet them.
