Bhagam Bhag 2 Cast: Manoj Bajpayee Replaces Govinda To Join Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal In Comedy Sequel

Mumbai, February 5 - The much-awaited sequel Bhagam Bhag 2 is moving forward with a major cast shake-up as Manoj Bajpayee is reportedly stepping into a key role originally associated with Govinda. The development marks an interesting casting choice, bringing together Bajpayee with Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal for the comedy sequel. According to the report by Variety India, the makers have locked Manoj Bajpayee as part of the principal cast, replacing Govinda, who was one of the main characters in the original film. While Govinda's involvement never materialised, Bajpayee's inclusion is expected to add a fresh comic dynamic to the franchise. Bhagam Bhag 2 will be directed by Raaj Shaandilya, known for Dream Girl and Dream Girl 2, making him a fitting choice to revive the iconic franchise. Akshay will begin shooting for Bhagam Bhag 2 after completing the ongoing schedule of Anees Bazmee's untitled comedy entertainer. Meanwhile, Telugu actress Meenakshi Chaudhary has been finalised as the female lead opposite Akshay Kumar, while discussions are currently underway to rope in actresse to star opposite Manoj Bajpayee.
