Anushka Shetty's 'Ghaati' Postponed

Hyderabad, July 5 - Anushka Shetty's much-awaited action thriller film Ghaati has been postponed once again due to pending work. The film is directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and produced by Yeduguru Rajeev Reddy and Saibabu Jagarlamudi under the banner of UV Creations and First Frame Entertainment. ## Ghaati, which is Anushka's first film since "Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty" (2023), was supposed to be released on July 11 after earlier getting postponed from April 18 this year. The makers issued a statement, announcing the postponement owing to the pending work. ## "Cinema is a living river. Sometimes it rushes forward, sometimes it pauses to gather depth. Ghaati is not just a film; it's a mountain echo, a wild breeze, a story carved from stone and soil. To honour every frame, every breath, we have chosen to hold its flight a little longer in our embrace. We believe this wait will make the experience richer, more intense, more unforgettable", the makers said in the statement. ## It is said that the film features high-quality VFX, and the delay is due to the incomplete post-production work. Vicky Kaushal Reunites With Producer Dinesh Vijan For An Epic Film After 'Chhaava'

Mumbai, November 13 - Actor Vicky Kaushal has been in top form lately with back-to-back box-office successes. The biggest hit for the actor in recent times was the romantic comedy Zara Hatke Zara Bachke with producer Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films. This film opened the door for more collaboration between the two. ## After ZHZB, Vicky reunited with Vijan for a historical film titled Chhaava. The movie is scheduled to be released early next year and it is said the producer is confident that it will deliver big at the box office. Meanwhile, Chhaava is not the only film between the two creative forces as the actor has signed his third film with the studio.## On Wednesday (November 13), Maddock announced that the Sam Bahadur star will headline an epic historical film, titled Mahavatar. The actor has already signed the dotted lines and will start preparation for the same after completing Sanjay Leela Bhansali's epic Love & War. ## Mahavatar is set against the backdrop of Ramayana and is about one of the most pivotal characters of the epic, Lord Parshuram. The film is undoubtedly the most ambitious one for both Maddock and Vicky Kaushal. The film requires 6 to 8 months plus of prep before going on floors, and that begins in 2025. ## Parashurama is the sixth avatar among the Dashavatara of the god Vishnu. He is one of the Chiranjivis (Immortals), who will appear at the end of the Kali Yuga to be the guru of Vishnu's tenth and last incarnation, Kalki. ## The movie will be directed by Stree 2 director Amar Kaushik and will hit the big screens on Christmas 2026. Meanwhile, Vicky is gearing up to commence the filming of Love and War which also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. It is easily one of the most anticipated films with an A-lister cast and crew. Fauji 2: New Version of Shah Rukh Khan's Iconic TV Show Announced

New Delhi, October 15 - Filmmaker Sandeep Singh has collaborated with the national broadcaster Doordarshan to announce Fauji 2, the new version of Shah Rukh Khan-led iconic television series.## Directed by Abhinav Pareek, Fauji 2 will star Vicky Jain and Gauahar Khan in the leading roles and will introduce twelve new actors - Aashish Bhardwaj, Utkarsh Kohli, Rudra Soni, Amardeep Phogat, Ayaan Manchanda, Niel Satpuda, Suvansh Dhar, Priyanshu Rajguru, Aman Singh Deep, Udit Kapur, Maansi and Sushmita Bhandari.## The show will feature 11 songs with music composed by music director Shreyas Puranik. Sonu Nigam has lent his voice to the title track of Fauji 2, produced by Sandeep Singh and co-produced by Vicky Jain and Zafar Mehdi with Sameer Hallim as the Creative Head. ## The original show, Fauji was first aired in 1989 and was created by the legendary writer and producer, Lt. Kochi, May 21 - Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran has his second blockbuster within two months as his latest comedy-drama Guruvayoorambala Nadayil, co-starring Basil Joseph, has topped 50 crores gross collection at the worldwide box office within a week. ## Directed by Vipin Das, Guruvayoorambala Nadayil crossed 50 crores worldwide gross on its 6th day, becoming the 7th Malayalam movie of 2024 to achieve the feat. The domestic and overseas collection of the movie after 5 days stands at 25.45 crores and 24 crores, respectively for approximately 49.50 crores worldwide total. ## Guruvayoorambala Nadayil scored 4.25 crore gross in India on the opening day upon its release on Thursday and showed a very good jump over the weekend to put up 21.75 crore India gross 4-day opening weekend. Kochi, May 17 - Prithviraj Sukumaran and Basil Joseph's comedy-drama Guruvayoorambala Nadayil scored the fourth biggest opening at the worldwide box office for a Malayalam movie of 2024 with over 8 crores gross collection. ## The Vipin Das's directorial movie grossed approximately 8.15 crores, including approximately 4.40 crores gross in India and 3.75 crores gross overseas collection. It is the second biggest opening for Prithviraj Sukumaran's career, behind Aadujeevitham which was released earlier this year. ## The opening of 8.15 crores gross of Guruvayoorambala Nadayil is the 4th biggest for a Malayalam title of 2024, behind Aadujeevitham (16 crores), Malaikottai Vaaliban (12.15 crores), and Aavesham (10.50 crores).
