On Thursday (January 20), the popular music video hit the 1 billion views mark on the T-Series YouTube channel, becoming the second for Guru Randhawa after "High Rated Gabru". ## "Lahore" was released on 13 December 2017 and became an instant hit among the youth. In an interview with IANS, Randhawa had said about "Lahore'" that "It's about a girl whom I have referred to from different places like Lahore, Delhi, Mumbai or London. I have compared her to Lahore's beauty, Mumbai's move, London's weather, and so on. The duo reprises their roles as Dr. Kabir Malhotra and Meher Grewal from original Filhaal, which was released in November 2019 and has raked in over a billion views on YouTube.## The video shows Akshay's character recalling his old romance with Nupur's character, feeling sad about letting her slip away, and then tailing her on a bike as she goes on a drive with her husband, played by Ammy Virk. Akshay's character is also shown to be dancing at their wedding, smiling through his tears. However, the music video meets with a tragic end as Akshay died in the accident. ## Sung by B Praak and lyrics penned by Jaani, the music video released amid the huge expectation and it lived up to the expectations. Filhaal 2 is also the most liked Indian music video with 1.9 million likes in the first 24-hours. ## Earlier, Badshah's song "Paagal" received 75 million views in 24 hours, and surpassed the viewership record of "Boy with Luv" by K-pop group BTS and American singer Halsey. However, Youtube said in a statement that Badshah's record label, Sony Music India, had purchased advertisements from Google and YouTube that embedded the video or directed fans to it in some way. ## On September 13, 2019, YouTube announced that their charts will no longer include paid advertising views. Mumbai, March 30 (IANS) Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has contributed Rs 1 crore to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's PM-Cares fund in support of the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.## "It is the absolute need of the hour to rise together as a nation. Whatever I am, whatever money I have earned, is only because of the people of India; and for us, I am contributing Rs 1 crore to the PM-Cares fund. I urge all my fellow Indians also to help as much as possible," the actor wrote on Instagram on Monday morning.## Akshay Kumar was the first Bollywood celebrity to donate to the government's fund in the hour of crisis. He donated Rs 25 crore on Saturday.## Following Akshay Kumar's footsteps, other B-Towners like Varun Dhawan, Anushka Sharma, singer Guru Randhawa, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, rapper Badshah, Maniesh Paul, Kriti Sanon, and others have also donated for the cause. Mumbai, March 28 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday announced the Prime Minister's Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund (PM CARES Fund), and soon a slew of Bollywood celebrities came forward to contribute their bit to help the Indian Government in its fight against the coronavirus outbreak.## Superstar Akshay Kumar took to Twitter to announce that he "will contribute Rs 25 crores" towards the fund.## "This is that time when all that matters in the lives of our people. And we need to do anything and everything it takes. I pledge to contribute Rs 25 crores from my savings to Narendra Modiji's PM-CARES FUND. Let's save lives, Jaan hai toh jahaan hai," Akshay tweeted.## After seeing Akshay contribute, many other celebs joined COVID-19 fight and announced that they would donate to PM CARES Fund.## Actor Varun Dhawan took a "pledge to contribute 30 lakhs to the PM CARE fund".## "We will overcome this.
