Netflix To 10: Alia Bhatt's Hollywood Debut Movie 'Heart of Stone' Debuts On Top With 33 Million Views; 'Adipurush' Lands At 8th Spot With 1.5 Million

Mumbai, August 16 - India's lady superstar Alia Bhatt's Hollywood debut movie "Heart of Stone", co-starring Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan, debuted at number 1 on Netflix in impressive global viewership. The spy action thriller, directed by Tom Harper, premiered on August 11 globally. ## "Heart of Stone", which runs for 2 hours and 6 minutes, scored 33.1 million views for 69.6 million viewing hours in the first three days. The movie is trending at number 1 in 93 countries, including most parts of North America as well as Asia and Europe. ## The movie marks the biggest debut for Alia Bhatt as a streamer, but that is because of Hollywood. Made on over $130 million budget, "Heart of Stone", however, may struggle to attract viewership due to very poor reviews by critics and mixed reception from audiences with 30% and 58%, respectively on Rotten Tomatoes.## In the movie, International intelligence agent Rachel Stone (Gadot) must embark on a dangerous mission to protect the mysterious artificial intelligence system known as "The Heart." Stone is tasked by the peacekeeping operation known as Charter to keep the object safe from falling into enemy hands. Alia Bhatt plays a globe-trotting hacker Keya Dhawan. ## Meanwhile, Prabhas-fronted "Adipurush" (Hindi) opened with 1.5 million views for 4.5 million viewing hours in its opening weekend on Netflix. It was the 8th most-watched non-English film worldwide during the week of August 7 - August 13.
