Varun Dhawan To Team Up With Atlee For A Mass Entertainer
Mumbai, May 15 - Director Atlee is gearing up for the release of his maiden Bollywood movie "Jawan" starring superstar Shah Rukh Khan, in September this year. While "Jawan" marks his directorial debut in Bollywood, the filmmaker has locked his next but this time as a producer. ## Over the last year, there have been rumours that Varun Dhawan and Atlee would collaborate for a mass entertainer. Varun too has expressed his wish to work with the filmmaker for an out-and-out action entertainer and now, as per the latest reports, the duo is finally coming together.## According to reports, Varun has been in talks with Atlee for a while now and they have finally decided to work together. It further revealed that Atlee would be producing the movie with Murad Khetani. The makers are currently working on finalizing the rest of the cast and crew.## The movie is said to be the adaptation of Thalapathy Vijay's "Theri" in which new characters will be added with a plot twist. Tamil director Kalees will reportedly be directing this film which will be shot over a period of four to five months as the makers are planning to release this yet-untitled movie in the Summer of 2024.## Varun Dhawan, meanwhile, has completed the shoot of director Nitesh Tiwari's romantic action drama "Bawaal", co-starring Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, which will release in October this year. He is currently shooting for Amazon Prime Video's "Citadel" co-starring Samantha Rukh Prabhu and also has the sequel to "Bhediya" for 2025 release. Atlee's film will be his immediate next big screen entertainer after "Bawaal".## Stay tuned...
