Abundantia Entertainment Acquires Hindi Remake Rights Of Critically Acclaimed Malayalam Film 'Home'

Mumbai, October 7 - Amazon Prime Video's recently released Malayalam movie, "Home" is all set to be remade in Hindi. Vikram Malhotra's Abundantia Entertainment (Sherni, Shakuntala Devi, Airlift) has bought the remake rights of this critically acclaimed film and will produce it along with the original's actor-producer Vijay Babu's production company Friday Film House. ## "Home" has been hailed as one of the finest films of the year coming out from the Malayalam cinema. The film shows how a father struggles to connect with his sons who spent most of their time on mobile phones than with their loved ones. The film left a lasting impact on the audiences and strike a chord with a strong message. ## Written and directed by Rojin Thomas, "Home" stars Indrans, whose portrayal as Oliver Twist won the hearts of the audiences along with Manju pillai, Naslen K Gafoor, Sreenath Bhasi, Deepa Thomas, among others in key roles. Due to the closure of cinemas in Kerala, the movie was released directly on Amazon Prime Video on August 19. ## The cast and crew for the Hindi remake of "Home" are yet to be locked. It is expected to go on floors next year ahead of its late 2022 release. Meanwhile, Malhotra's Abundantia Entertainment is currently producing feature films "Jalsa" and magnum opus "Ram Setu".
