Sunny Deol's 'Gadar 2' Gets NOC From The Indian Army

Mumbai, July 1 - The sequel to Sunny Deol-fronted all-time blockbuster "Gadar: Ek Prem Katha" is one of the most-anticipated Bollywood movies. Directed by Anil Sharma, "Gadar 2: The Katha Continues" is scheduled to release on August 11 this year and the preparations are being made for a grand release. ## Now, according to Pinkvilla, the first cut of "Gadar 2" has been locked and was screened for the Indian Army. It is compulsory for any army-based film in India to obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Defence Preview Committee before the release. ## The "Gadar 2" team screened the film for the Indian Army to get a NOC and not only did they get clean chit but also received a positive reception from the Indian Army. The Ministry of Defence Preview Committee has given clearance to the film without raising any issues and shared positive words of appreciation with the team. ## Produced by Zee Studios and Anil Sharma Productions, "Gadar 2" recently launched and got a thunderous response. While the teaser and a song have already been launched, the makers will soon be launching the grand theatrical trailer of Gadar2 for the audience. ## The movie also stars Ameesha Patel and Utkrasha Sharma in prominent roles. It will clash will be Akshay Kumar-fronted "OMG 2". Indian Chief of Army Staff Praises Sidharth Malhotra And Kiara Advani Starrer 'Shershaah' For Realistic Portrayal of the Kargil War

Mumbai, August 29, 2021: Bollywood biographical drama, Shershaah, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani has been the talk of the town ever since it was released on Amazon Prime Video on August 12. The movie has been receiving accolades all around for making one of the best war movies of Indian cinema. ## The Chief of Army Staff, General MM Naravane praised the movie for its realistic portrayal of the 1999 Kargil War. The movie is based on the life of the late war veteran Captain Vikram Batra (PVC). ## In a letter to producer Shabbir Boxwala, the Chief of Army staff wrote, "It was a memorable and nostalgic experience attending the premiere of the movie based on Capt. Vikram Batra PVC and interacting with the cast and crew of the movie. I appreciate the genuine efforts made by the entire crew in depicting realistic battle scenes of the Kargil war and the espirit-de-corps of the Indian Army". ## The Chief of Army staff went on to say that "war movies have always had an endearing impact on people of all ages, especially the youth. These movies have immortalized our soldiers in the heart of every Indian. We have grown up watching these films, which have captured the valour and travails of our armed forces. Last month in June, the actor visited Kashmir and spent a day with the officials of the Border Security Force (BSF).
