According to Variety, the new film would be a fresh start for the superhero character, and it is unlikely to bring Gal Gadot, who has played Diana Prince/Wonder Woman. ## Gadot has played this iconic character in 2017's "Wonder Woman" and "Justice League," 2020's "Wonder Woman 1984," 2021's "Zack Snyder's Justice League," and in a cameo in 2023's "The Flash." ## There are several DC Films that are said to be in development at the studio, and a few of them have already been greenlit. The first, "Superman," opens in July this year, starring David Corenswet as the Man of Steel. The second, "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow," starring Milly Alcock, opens in June 2026.
