Box Office: Dhanush's 'Kuberaa' Scored Excellent Opening Day Worldwide
Hyderabad, June 21 - Tamil star Dhanush returns to Telugu cinema with director Sekhar Kammula's action thriller Kuberaa, after scoring a blockbuster with his debut Telugu film in the form of Vaathi/SIR (2023). The movie also stars Telugu veteran Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, and Jim Sarbh in prominent roles. ## Kuberaa has been making noise for the last couple of weeks after the release of the teaser and trailer, which perfectly set the tone for the movie to score a big opening. Although the advances for the movie were not as big as the trade had thought, for some reason, the movie opened to an excellent collection all over. ## Kuberaa has taken the biggest opening for Dhanush with a worldwide collection coming in the range of 27 crores gross. The previous biggest opener for the actor was Raayan, which grossed around 23 crores. It is also Nagarjuna's biggest grosser. ## In India, Kuberaa has grossed in the range of 17 crores, while overseas collection is estimated to be around 10 crores for the opening. The audience reception for the movie is on the positive side, which is already reflected in the second day collection with solid growth. ## Stay tuned...
