Mumbai, February 2 - The music album of Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna's recent box office hit, "Pushpa - The Rise" has been a big hit. From the trendsetting romantic melody "Srivalli" to Samantha Ruth Prabhu's dance number "Oo Antava..Oo Oo Antava", the album is making all the right noise on every platform it is available. ## The music videos of "Pushpa" are raging views in millions on YouTube. Recently, the Hindi version of "Srivalli" hit 100 million views in just 3 weeks, and now, Samantha Prabhu's item number in the Hindi version, "Oo Bolega ya Oo Oo Bolega" has also reached 100 million views on YouTube.## Sung by Kanika Kapoor from the lyrics penned by Raqueeb Alam, "Oo Bolega ya Oo Oo Bolega" was released on T-Series' YouTube channel on January 7. On February 2, the item number breached the 100 million mark in the Hindi version. It is currently trending at number #13 on YT. ## Meanwhile, the original Telugu version of the song is currently ahead of the Hindi version with 118 million views. Sunny Leone on her latest track 'Madhuban': Want it to be biggest party anthem of this year

New Delhi, Dec 23 (IANS) Sunny Leone opens up on her latest dance number 'Madhuban', crooned by Kanika Kapoor. She has all the hopes from her latest song and believes it will be well received by her fans and listeners. ## Talking about the song, Sunny says: "When I shot for a big song like 'Madhuban', I knew that everyone was going to like it. Working on this song has been unlike any other. From the online digital campaign to learning the song, then shooting for it and also getting into the costume --- all of it was a lot of hard work and I hope that people enjoy watching it. Singer Kanika Kapoor to donate her plasma

Lucknow, April 28 (IANS) Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor has now approached the King George's Medical University (KGMU), offering to donate her plasma for treatment of other Covid-19 patients.## The singer called up the head of the transfusion medicine department, Prof Tulika Chandra, and volunteered to help.## "She called me up and said she really wanted to help other Covid-19 patients. Vice-Chancellor Prof M.L.B. Bhatt has given a go-ahead on it and we will now be carrying out the tests on her to see if she is fit to donate her plasma," said Prof Chandra.## As per experts, Kanika's sample will be tested for a number of things before she can donate her plasma. These include her hemoglobin level that should be above 12.5, weight should be more than 50 kg and the patient should not have diabetes, cardiovascular issues, malaria, syphilis, and other such ailments.## Kanika's sample will probably be taken on Tuesday and if found to be eligible, she will be donating her plasma on Wednesday.## Kanika Kapoor had grabbed headlines last month when she became the first Bollywood celebrity to test positive for Coronavirus.## Kanika had attended two parties in Lucknow in the presence of top politicians and bureaucrats and all of them were later tested for Corona.## Kanika was hospitalized for over a fortnight at the Sanjay Gandhi Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS).## She had, on April 26, come out with a statement clarifying her travel and Covid-19 history declaring that she was aware of misconceptions and wrong information floating around her but she chose to remain silent until ready to speak.## Kanika in her social media post had said that all persons she came in contact within the UK, Mumbai, and Lucknow had been tested negative and that she had duly followed the process.## Meanwhile, the KGMU on Sunday night made the first plasma transfusion in a 58-year-old patient from Orai who is a government doctor whose condition was critical.## The doctors now say that the patient is responding well to the transfusion.## The university has received three plasma donations from fully recovered Covid-19 patients, two from doctors and one from a Lakhimpur man.## Stay tuned...

Kanika Kapoor speaks up after recovering from COVID-19

Mumbai, April 26 (IANS) Singer Kanika Kapoor, who was the first Bollywood celebrity to have tested positive for COVID-19 in India, has broken silence on her travel history, diagnosis and treatment.## Kanika was admitted on March 20 when her tests revealed that she was Coronavirus positive.## She was discharged from the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) in Lucknow earlier this month.## She has now issued a statement on Twitter in which she has revealed why she chose to be silent all this while.## "Every person that I have come in contact with, be it in UK, Mumbai or Lucknow, has shown no symptoms of Covid-19. In fact all those tested have been negative," she said in her statement.## "I travelled from UK to Mumbai on March 10 and was duly screened at the international airport. I travelled to Lucknow the following day on March 11 to see my family. There was no screening set up for domestic flights. On March 14 and 15, I attended a friend's lunch and dinner. There was no party hosted by me and I was in absolute normal health. I had symptoms on March 17 and 18, so I requested to be tested."## The singer also mentioned that she has been at home for 21 days now and also thanked doctors and medical staff for "taking care of her during a very emotionally testing time".## She concluded the statement by saying: "Negativity thrown at a person does not change the reality."## A case had been registered against the singer, last month, for hiding her travel history and attending parties after returning from London.## She was charged under IPC Section 269 (a negligent act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life) and Section 270 (malignant act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life).## Stay tuned...

COVID-19: Vicky Kaushal, Rajkummar Rao's housing complex partially sealed

Singer Kanika Kapoor discharged from hospital

Lucknow, April 6 (IANS) Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor has finally been discharged from the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) after her second report for Coronavirus also tested negative.## SGPGIMS PRO Kusum Yadav said that Kanika has been allowed to go home.## Kanika was admitted on March 20 when her tests revealed that she was Coronavirus positive.## Her five consecutive reports showed her as Coronavirus positive. The reports on Saturday and Sunday, however, were Corona negative.## Kanika is the first Bollywood celebrity to test positive for the deadly virus in the country.## In a statement on Instagram, which she later deleted, Kanika narrated how she developed signs of flu on her return from London. She claimed that she was unaware of the Coronavirus infection until she tested positive.## The singer who had come from London on March 9 was slammed by the media for interacting with hundreds of people at parties and other events in Lucknow even though she had symptoms of Corona.## She was admitted on March 20 when her tests revealed that she was Corona positive.## Kanika's troubles, however, are likely to increase now since three FIRs have been filed against her on charges of negligence for attending various social events in the city despite being infected with coronavirus and having been instructed by the authorities to isolate herself at her home.## She has been booked under Sections 188, 269, and 270 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Sarojini Nagar police station in the city. Kanika Kapoor tests positive 3rd time, friend is negative

Lucknow, March 25 (IANS) Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor has tested positive in her third COVID-19 test, reports of which came in on Tuesday night.## In the second test conducted on Sunday, she had tested positive.## Kanika is undergoing treatment at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) here.## SGPGIMS Director Prof R. K. Dhiman said that the singer continues to test positive for the coronavirus and her treatment will continue until unless at least two tests show her negative.## Meanwhile, Kanika's friend, Ojas Desai, who had stayed with her at the Hotel Taj for two days and had later gone underground, has now tested negative for the deadly virus.## In a statement issued by Ojas, he has said that he had got himself tested for COVID-19 at the Kasturba Hospital for Infectious Diseases at Mumbai and had tested negative. Lucknow police hunt for Kanika's missing friend

Lucknow, March 23 (IANS) The Lucknow police are now frantically searching for a Mumbai based entrepreneur, Ojas Desai, who was present with singer Kanika Kapoor at Hotel Taj and left the city on March 16. ## While the police have tracked over 260 people who interacted with the singer but Ojas Desai has remained untraceable. ## Chief medical officer (CMO) Dr Narendra Agarwal said that they had been trying to track down Desai but did not have his exact address in Mumbai or his whereabouts. ## The singer is in quarantine and cannot be questioned at this time, he added. ## The Hotel Taj, however, has sent 11 of its employees who interacted with Kanika during her two day stay at the hotel into quarantine. "We are keeping close watch on their health and necessary checks are being done," said a hotel official. ## The Hotel Taj has been shut down by the Lucknow administration after it was found that the singer had stayed there. ## Meanwhile, the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) where Kanika is presently admitted, has said that her second test on Sunday also showed that she is Coronavirus positive. ## SGPGIMS director Prof R.K. Kanika Kapoor elicits mixed reactions from B-Town

Mumbai, March 21 (IANS) It's been over 24 hours that singer Kanika Kapoor was found to have attended several public events and high-profile parties despite testing positive for COVID-19, and Bollywood has mostly been guarded in reacting to the situation. The few responses that have come have been mixed. While some B-Town denizens have been critical of Kanika for not declaring her travel history upon arriving from the UK, a few others feel she is being unnecessarily victimized.## While Kanika was overwhelmingly criticized and trolled all through Saturday, and hashtag #KanikaKaCoronaCrime trended on Twitter, actress Sonam Kapoor came out in the singer's defense.## "Hey, guys @TheKanikakapoor came back on the 9th. India was not self-isolating but playing Holi," wrote Sonam.## While the singer continues facing flak for evading screening at the airport, Rishi Kapoor posted a tweet addressed to Taj Hotels on Friday. Those who are found on low risk are being stamped and sent for home quarantine or at the hotel and they are being requested to maintain social distance for two weeks as a precaution. But believe it or not, despite being stamped for home quarantine, some of these passengers are not only traveling to other parts of the city but also to different parts of the country. They are attending weddings, going on vacations, going to crowded places and even attending parties. What are they thinking? What is this mentality?
