Kabzaa Opening Day Advance Booking Status and Box Office Expectations

Bengaluru, March 16 - The Kannada film industry witnessed the biggest year in the terms of box office success in 2022. Films like KGF: Chapter 2, Kantara, Charlie 777, and Vikrant Rona, among others, did wonders and turned out blockbusters, not just in Kannada but in other languages as well. ## The success of 2022 will be hard to replicate but there are some Kannada films for which the industry is hopeful of making an impact at the box office. Upendra and Kichcha Sudeepa's period action drama Kabzaa is one of the most anticipated Kannada movies that is carrying good buzz among moviegoers.## Directed by R. Chandru, "Kabzaa" is another Kannada movie that will be released in multiple languages this Friday (March 17). The advance booking for the same was opened a couple of days ago, and so far, it has sold approx. 140K tickets worth approx. 2.50 crores in all languages. ## The Kannada language is driving the pre-sales with approx. 70K tickets worth approx. 1.60 crores sold far. Bengaluru, September 17 - The Kannada film industry is flying high after the mega-blockbuster success of KGF: Chapter 2, and now, the industry is looking to score another big success with the upcoming period gangster drama film Kabzaa. ## The teaser of Upendra and Kichcha Sudeepa-fronted was released on Saturday (Sept. 17) and it brings back the vibes of KGF. The movie revolves around a 1947 Gandhi follower and a freedom fighter and how they were brutally attacked. Due to unavoidable circumstances, the freedom fighter's son gets trapped in the mafia world and the story unfolds between 1947 to 1984.## The teaser did not reveal any story or dialogues, but it still managed to leave a mark, thanks to the Ravi Basrur standout background score which perfectly syncs with the theme of the movie. 'Vikrant Rona' Star Kichcha Sudeepa Insists Directing Superstar Salman Khan In A Film

Mumbai, July 29 - Kannada superstar Kichcha Sudeepa's Pan India film Vikrant Rona has been released in theaters and winning praise all around for providing a majestic cinematic 3D experience. The Hindi version of this mystery action-adventure film is presented by superstar Salman Khan with whom, Sudeepa shares a great bond personally. ## Sudeepa, who shared screen space with Salman Khan in "Dabangg 3", had said in an interview in 2021 that he has plans to direct the Bollywood superstar in a film. Since then, both got busy with their respective projects, and there has been not much development on their next project together. The "Vikrant Rona" actor has now opened up about his film with Salman. ## In a recent conversation with Pinkvilla, while promoting his film, Sudeepa said, "When I am directing Salman Khan, you should wait, no". ## He added, "The process just started last year and wait for some more time.
