Sajid Nadiadwala Announces Salman Khan-Fronted 'Kick 2' With First Look Glimpse

Mumbai, October 4 - In a major surprise, producer Sajid Nadiadwala has officially announced the action comedy Kick 2, starring superstar Salman Khan. The sequel to 2014's blockbuster has been in the news for many years and has finally been confirmed. ## The movie was announced on October 4 with a first-look glimpse of Salman Khan's photoshoot for Kick 2. The photo shoot was done at the sets of Sikandar which is also being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. ## The first look glimpse of Kick 2 shows Salman Khan facing the camera. This has come out of the blue and has surely raised excitement among the fans. It is, however, not yet confirmed if Sajid Nadiadwala will also return to direct the sequel. ## Meanwhile, the shoot of Sikandar is happening at a brisk pace. It is directed by A.R. Makers Hint At Starting Salman Khan-fronted 'Kick 2' In 2024

Mumbai, December 30 - It has been a long time since Salman Khan-fronted Kick 2 was announced, co-starring Jacqueline Fernandez. However, there has been no concrete development since its announcement as the fans are still awaiting official updates from the makers for the same. ## Over the last year, the chatters about "Kick 2" have been making a lot of noise and the rumours were there that the movie would start rolling soon, but again, it didn't happen. As 2023 is coming to an end, the buzz is there that the film may start in 2024, and now, the producers have also hinted about the same. ## It is to be noted that the script of "Kick 2" is completely ready and the team seem getting ready to roll it out in 2024. On Saturday (December 30), the official X handle of Nadiadwala Grandon Entertainment shared their resolution of 2024 and that is to Kick-start the sequel. ## Superstar Salman Khan also recently said in an interview that he has Kick 2, Dabangg, and Sooraj Barjatya's film, among others in the pipeline. The actor's next, however, is "The Bull" with director Vishnu Vardhan and it was officially launched on December 29 in Mumbai. ## Talking about "Kick", the action comedy film was released in 2014 and was a massive blockbuster at the worldwide box office. Sajid Nadiadwala Breaks His Silence On The Sequel To Salman Khan-Fronted 'Kick'

Mumbai, July 13 - The sequel to filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala's directorial debut "Kick" fronted by Salman Khan has been in development for a long time. It was officially announced in 2020, but due to the covid-19 pandemic, the production got delayed. ## Sajid Nadiadwala, who is basking on the success of "Satyaprem Ki Katha" starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, finally breaks his silence and opens up on the much-awaited action-comedy sequel and confirmed that he will be returning to direct it. The filmmaker said that the script is ready but they are waiting for the right time to take "Kick 2" on floors, hence the production is getting delayed.## "The subject is there on paper, it's completely written but needs time. We need a bigger scale and a better time for its release. We need to have cinema consumption back in fashion for us to make Kick. Once we are back to normal, I will be ready to take Kick 2 on floors", the filmmaker said in an interview with Pinkvilla.## Nadiadwala also said that Salman Khan has heard the script and now, all they need is the right time and the excitement of the audience to come back for the movie so they can plan things accordingly. "We can't be complacent and we have to provide a great cinematic experience (to the audience). We need to work very hard to give value for not just their money but also their time", he added.## Meanwhile, Nadiadwala is currently gearing up for the release of "Bawaal" starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor. The movie will have a direct-to-digital release via Amazon Prime Video on July 21. Makers React To The Rumours of Asim Riaz Joining Salman Khan-Fronted 'Kick 2'

Mumbai, April 26 - Salman Khan-fronted Kick 2 has been in the news for a long time. The movie was announced a few years back with Salman and Jacqueline Fernandez returning to their roles. After no update for almost 3 years, the rumours about the movie started spreading on social media recently.## It was reported recently that producer Sajid Nadiadwala of Nadiadwala Grandson is in the process to lock the script as the makers were reportedly intended to release the movie on Eid 2024. It will be directed by Sajid Nadiadwala himself. The sequel is supposed to go on floors in the next year. ## Talking about the original Kick, it was released on 25 July 2014 and was directed and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It is an official remake of the 2009 Telugu film of the same name. ## Kick was a big super hit at the box office and was the highest-grossing Hindi film at that time with nearly Rs. 400 crore collection worldwide.
