Superstar Aamir Khan Finalizes His Next Film
Mumbai, September 27 - Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan returned to the big screen after nearly 4 years with Laal Singh Chaddha, which was a remake of the Hollywood classic "Forrest Gump". But LSC also met with the same fate as his last film Thugs of Hindostan at the box office.## It was reported that Aamir will next take up director RS Prasann's film which is a remake of the Spanish film, Campeones. But, the disastrous result of LSC reportedly forced Aamir to ask to pause pre-production work on the film for the time being. However, the latest reports suggest positive development regarding Prasann's sports-comedy-drama film. ## According to Peepingmoon.com, Aamir Khan has made up his mind to do the Hindi adaptation of "Campeones" as his next film and the shoot for the same will start in January 2023. Sony Pictures India will reportedly produce the film and the makers have chalked out a six-month schedule to shoot it.## The award-winning musical trio, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy will score the music for the film and this marks their third collaboration with Aamir after "Dil Chahta Hai" (2001) and "Taare Zameen Par" (2007). ## A sports drama with an epic, inspirational human story at its core, the movie will see Aamir Khan playing the role of an arrogant, selfish, self-absorbed basketball coach who, as a part of his community service sentence, builds a Special Olympics team comprising intellectually-disabled players. ## Stay tuned...
