Panorama Studios International Acquires Hindi Remake Rights Of Mohanlal Starrer Drishyam 2

Mumbai, May 4, 2021: Mohanlal starrer Malayalam movie, Drishyam 2 which recently premiered on Amazon Prime Video became a digital blockbuster after getting rave reviews. And now, the movie is set for its Hindi remake as Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak's Panorama Studios International has acquired the Hindi remake rights of this suspense thriller. ## Panorama Studios had also produced the Hindi remake of Drishyam with Ajay Devgn reprising the role of Mohanlal along with Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Ishita Dutta in key roles. As per a letter to the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), YRF has decided to vaccinate almost 30,000 members of the M&E industry free of cost.## In the letter, the production house has mentioned that the Hindi film industry has suffered a lot amidst the pandemic and it is necessary to start it at the earliest so that 'thousands of workers can start earning their livelihood again'. The letter also mentions that the production house has made a request to CM Uddhav Thackeray to give them permission to purchase the vaccine and the cost of it will be handled by Yash Raj Foundation.## Later, FWICE wrote a letter to the CM requesting him to consider YRF's request. Akshay Kumar Starrer Bell Bottom Might Opt For A Hybrid Release

Mumbai, April 29, 2021: When the covid-19 cases were slowing down in the country earlier in the year, many Bollywood filmmakers started scheduling the release dates of their pending movies. However, the second wave of coronavirus pandemic has led multiple Bollywood producers to rethink their strategies. ## While Salman Khan starrer "Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai" has already announced for a hybrid release in theaters and multiple digital platforms via a pay per view service this Eid, there are talks happening in the film industry that Akshay Kumar starrer "Bell Bottom" might also take the same route to avoid further delay, however, the makers are also looking for direct-to-digital release via Disney Plus Hotstar. ## "Bell Bottom was all set for a theatrical release on May 28, but in current times, it's unlikely for any film to arrive in the cinema halls at least for the next couple of months. Keeping the current situation in mind, the makers have started negotiating with Disney Plus Hotstar for a price of around 150 crores", a source close to the development told a leading entertainment portal. ## The source further said that "makers want Bell Bottom to be a theatrical experience but this a tough decision they have to take. While the talks with Disney Plus are on, the makers are also finding ways for a hybrid release of Bell Bottom", adding that the hybrid release plan depends upon the success of Salman Khan's Radhe. ## Interestingly, in the month of January, the Bell Bottom team was in talks with Amazon Prime Video for direct OTT release and the streaming giant had reportadly offered 125 crores to the makers. Apart from a couple of versions of Raso, there are many other literary works on Prithviraj, his life, and times. He concluded by saying the characters like Prithviraj are shining bright stars in the galaxy which will inspire many generations to come. ## Prithviraj is the film, Dr. Dwivedi wanted to make for a long time. He had completed scriptwriting in 2010, and his first choice for Prithviraj's role was Sunny Deol, with Aishwarya Rai as Sanyogita. However, due to date issues with Sunny and no backing from the production house, the movie was almost shelved before Yash Raj Films came on board in 2018 and revived this once-in-a-lifetime project. ## The movie was officially launched in 2019, with Akshay confirmed to star as Prithviraj while Manushi replaced Rai as Prithviraj's love interest and wife, Sanyogita.
