'We Didn't Have Any Better Options', Gal Gadot On Wonder Woman 1984's HBO Max Plan

After the first part of the Gal Gadot starrer superhero film, Wonder Woman (2017), fans around the world were eagerly waiting for its sequel since then. The second part, Wonder Woman 1984 was shot in 2018 and started the promotions in the next in the hope of a timely release. However, it was pushed back on four occasions due to the covid-19 pandemic and now, it is finally set to release on December 25 in the USA. ## Wonder Woman 1984 was indeed one of the much-awaited films around the world for various reasons and the pre-release buzz around has been insane. Though things are still not the same as Warner Bros. has decided to release the movie on streaming platform HBO Max and in theaters simultaneously. This move by the makers was largely criticized, however, Wonder Woman aka Gal Gadot is one of the few who has supported the studios' plan to release the movie on HBO Max. ## "The truth of the matter is that we didn't have any better options. We felt like we were sitting on the movie for such a long time. We shot the movie in 2018, we started promoting it in 2019, we pushed the movie four times. We felt like the movie was so relevant to what's happening in the world right now that you come to a place at a certain time where you are like, 'ok' I just want people to watch the movie", Gal Gadot told Digital Spy according to LetsOTT.com. ## Warner Bros. didn't stop here as the studio has put his entire schedule of 2021 on HBO Max and theaters which includes movies like, Godzilla vs Kong, Dune, Matrix 4, The Suicide Squad, and many more. The decision was taken considering the pandemic situation. ## On the other hand, according to LetsOTT, Warner Bros had sent around 10 million US dollars to some of the cast and crew members of Wonder Woman 1984 as they wanted the third film from the franchise and didn't want to suffer a fallout because of their HBO Max idea. Hollywood filmmaker Christopher Nolan says he did not just want to come and shoot in India, but bring out the true essence by having an Indian character, and that is the reason Dimple Kapadia became an important part of his recently released, Tenet.## "I've always been struck with the spy genre, one of the things that is really fun about the genre is as an audience member, you get to travel the world, be it places you would never normally go and see things you would never normally see," Nolan told IANS while breaking down the reason behind the diverse cast of his latest film.## "One of the ways in which you make that meaningful and real is to have a very international cast, and have people who are from all over the world, or actors playing different nationalities", he added.## He continued, "For example, I didn't want to come to India and just use American actors and use Mumbai as a backdrop. Tenet Day 1 Box Office Collection in India

The Christopher Nolan directorial, action-thriller, and science fiction film, Tenet debuted in India today on December 4 in theaters, almost three months after its theatrical release in the rest of the world. The movie released in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on around 800 screens in India including IMAX, and as everyone was expecting, the film somewhere forced people to come out from their houses to get the cinematic experience all over again. As the result, Tenet has had a decent opening at the box office despite the restrictions. As per the early estimates, Tenet has earned approx Rs. 1.50 crores on its opening day in India. The first-day collection was largely generated via IMAX screens which show very good occupancy all over India. For the 2D version, Mumbai has had a good occupancy, while most of the other parts were partially good. Above all, the response Tenet has got on Day 1, is increasing as the movie faces piracy scare, plus the pandemic situation along with other restrictions. Melissa Benoist Led 'Supergirl' To End With Season Six Next Year

The Melissa Benoist-led "Supergirl" is all set to take one last flight with its sixth and last season. The CW announced on Tuesday that the "Supergirl" series will conclude with its upcoming sixth season which is slated to begin later this month in Vancouver, will consist of 20 episodes and premiere in 2021. ## "To say it has been an honor portraying this iconic character would be a massive understatement. Seeing the incredible impact the show has had on young girls around the world has always left me humbled and speechless", Melissa Benoist wrote on Instagram. ## "She's had that impact on me, too. She's taught me strength I didn't know I had, to find hope in the darkest of places, and that we are stronger when we're united. What she stands for pushes all of us to be better. She has changed my life for the better, and I'm forever grateful", she added. ## The last season of Supergirl will arrive whenever midseason 2021 is for the CW network. This move was designed to allow production to resume after leading lady Benoist returned from maternity leave.## "I'm so excited that we get to plan our conclusion to this amazing journey, and I cannot wait for you to see what we have in store.
