Mammootty's 'Bramayugam' Among Letterboxd's Top 10 Horror Movies of 2024 Worldwide

Mumbai, October 2 - The year 2024 has been super successful for the Malayalam cinema, and one of the standout films to come out from the Mollywood industry has been megastar Mammootty's period folk horror Bramayugam. ## Directed by Rahul Sadasivan, Bramayugam received extremely positive reviews from critics upon its release in February this year. It is now ranked as one of the best horror movies of 2024 (so far) by Letterboxd, an online social cataloging service for films. ## According to the average Letterboxd member rating, Bramayugam is the second-best horror movie of 2024, behind The Substance, an international co-production between the United Kingdom, the United States and France (as of October 1st). ## Bramayugam is the only Indian horror movie of the year to feature in the Letterboxd's top 10 movies. Guardians of the Galaxy 3 Hits Record For MCU In Letterboxd's Ratings

Los Angeles, May 6 - Director James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy is finally coming to an end with the final film hitting theaters this Friday. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has been billed as a special film in the MCU for many reasons. ## Not only was GoTG3 the final film in this much-loved superhero series, but the threequel was also director James Gunn's final MCU movie. Just like the first two Guardians movies, the latest flick is also getting wide praise from the audiences and now, it has created a new MCU record in ratings. ## The threequel currently opens at a 4.2 rating out of 5 on Letterboxd, making it the highest-rated MCU movie, distributed by Disney on the social platform. The original Guardians of the Galaxy movie scored a 3.8 rating on Letterboxd, while Vol. 2 has a 3.5 rating.## "Spider-Man: No Way Home", which was distributed by Sony Pictures, opened slightly higher at 4.3 ratings, but it currently stands at 4 ratings on the platform. ## Meanwhile, other than the Letterboxed's ratings, GoTG3 has received an "A" CinemaScore, which is on par with the first two films in the franchise.
