Superstar Shah Rukh Khan To Be Honoured With Locarno Film Festival Career Award

Mumbai, July 2 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan adds another feather to his golden hat as he will be honoured with the prestigious Honorary Leopard Achievement Award by the Locarno Film Festival for his outstanding contribution to Indian cinema. ## The official X handle of the Locarno Film Festival shared the news, and wrote "To welcome a living legend like #ShahRukhKhan in Locarno is a dream come true. The actor and film producer – a true Indian superstar, a symbol of the vitality of Hindi-language cinema – will receive our career achievement award, the Pardo alla Carriera, at #Locarno77". ## The actor will receive the honour on August 10 at the Swiss fest's 8,000-seat Piazza Grande open-air venue. The festival was founded in 1946 and it screens films in various competitive and non-competitive sections. ## Shah Rukh Khan, meanwhile, was last seen in director Rajkumar Hirani's comedy-drama, Dunki in December 2023. The actor is currently gearing up to commence the filming of Sujoy Ghosh's action thriller, The King which will see his daughter Suhana Khan making her big screen debut. ## Stay tuned...
