Mumbai, March 11 - Warner Bros. has preponed the release date of its upcoming fantasy film "Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore" in India. ## The third installment in the Fantastic Beasts film series was supposed to release on April 15 with the USA release, but now, it will arrive a week early on April 8 in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. ## The move to shift the release of the film early is understandable knowing the fact that the April second weekend will see India's one of the biggest films, "KGF - Chapter 2" hitting the big screens on April 14. The Yash-starrer is expected to grab most of the screens and it would have badly hit "Fantastic Beasts 3's" box office chances in India. ## The film, which is directed by David Yates, is set several years after the events of The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018). It follows Albus Dumbledore tasking Newt Scamander and his allies with a mission that takes them into the heart of dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald's army. ## Its ensemble cast includes Eddie Redmayne, Jude Law, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Callum Turner, Jessica Williams, Katherine Waterston, and Mads Mikkelsen. Los Angeles, January 23 - Johnny Depp might still be facing tough times in Hollywood, but the Pirates of the Caribbean star has lined up his next project in France. Depp will star as French king Louis XV in the next film directed by French Cesar-winning actress and director Maiwenn.## The yet-untitled film will be shot for three months on location across Parisian landmarks, mainly at the Versailles Palace. The plot of the period drama is being kept under wraps. Paris-based Why Not Productions (A Prophet) are producing this film while Wild Bunch International is handling worldwide sales and will introduce the project to buyers at next month's European Film Market in Berlin, reports 'THR'.## Louis XV, also known as Louis the Beloved, ruled as King of France for 59 years, from 1715, when he succeeded his great-grandfather Louis XIV at the age of five, to his death in 1774. Despite his nickname, Louis XV's reign ended in disgrace, with the king accused of debauchery and corruption, a legacy he passed on to his grandson and successor Louis XVI, who was beheaded after the French Revolution.## It will be Depp's first film since Andrew Levitas's "Minamata" (2020), a film about war photographer W. Eugene Smith. Depp has been accused by his ex-wife Amber Heard of domestic violence, as a result, Warner Bros. dropped him from the third installment of their Fantastic Beasts franchise, replacing Depp with Mads Mikkelsen. The three-time Oscar nominee, however, hasn't faced much of a backlash in Europe.## The period movie will mark a departure for Maiwenn, whose films are all contemporary and often personal. Los Angeles, Dec 27 (IANS) 'Nightmare Alley' director Guillermo del Toro says video game development isn't his thing anymore. ## On the Happy Sad Confused podcast, the award-winning director who was once teamed up with Hideo Koijma to develop Konami's horror survival video game 'Silent Hills', flat out said he doesn't think he'll ever try video game development again, reports deadline.com. ## Fans were curious about his status after he appeared at the Game Awards this year and commented on the hope of a new 'Silent Hill' game being released soon. ## While he loves video games and gaming ideas, he doesn't think he'll develop another game because he's labeled himself "the albatross of video gaming." ## "It's just one of those things in my life that makes no sense," del Toro said of Silent Hills' cancellation. ## "I kind of just wanted to tickle the ribs of Konami, because I don't understand. The new "Fantastic Beasts" film will revolve around Albus Dumbledore, a famous Harry Potter figure that many original Potter fans will always line up to see more of.## Things will be a little bit different in Fantastic Beasts 3 on the casting front as Johnny Depp who was a part of the franchise's second film is no longer a part of the third film.
