Prabhas' 'Kalki 2898 AD' New Release Date Reportedly Revealed

Hyderabad, July 24 - According to the new rumours, superstar Prabhas' much-awaited Pan India sci-fi epic movie "Kalki 2898 AD" aka "Project K" has been postponed from January to summer 2024. The movie is directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. ## The title of the movie was recently unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con event with the first look glimpse. The title has been kept after one of the names of Lord Vishnu as the movie is a mixture of mythology and science fiction. ## Earlier this year, makers announced that "Kalki 2898 AD" would be released on January 12, 2024, in multiple languages worldwide. However, the shoot of the movie is still going on which led to speculations to its postponement. Now, as per a post by the industry tracker Manobala Vijayabalan, makers are planning to release the movie on May 9, 2024, worldwide.## The new rumored release date is in line with some of the recent reliable reports stating it would be released in the summer of 2024 only as the movie will require at least 3-4 months of post-production work. It was also revealed that "Kalki" would be released in two parts, however, the makers are yet to announce the same. ## "Kalki 2898 AD", which has a production budget of around 600 crores, stars Prabhas in the title role alongside Deepika Padukone as the female lead, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani in prominent roles. Chennai, June 3 - The long-awaited Tamil action drama film, "Vikram", starring legendary Kamal Haasan, finally hit screens today, June 3rd. The Lokesh Kanagaraj-directed movie also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil in prominent roles with Suriya making a cameo appearance. ## The film revolves around two siblings: one is a gangster and the other, a politician. They both kidnap a high-ranking government official and trap him in their own prison. Chennai, Dec 31 (IANS) A major schedule of the Jiiva-Mirchi Shiva starrer 'Golmaal', directed by Ponkumaran and produced by Jaguar Studios' B. Vinod Jain, has successfully concluded in Mauritius.## Actor Jiiva has caught the public eye for his portrayal of cricketer Krishnamachari Srikkanth in the movie '83'.## The 'Golmaal' team has returned to Chennai for Christmas-New Year break and will return to Mauritius for a fresh schedule in January after canning some important scenes in Chennai.## Director Ponkumaran said, "We started the Mauritius schedule last month and shot major portions for around 25 days. All the scenes have come out very well and I can assure a full-length comedy film which can be enjoyed by the audience from all sections".## Talking about working with Jiiva and Mirchi Shiva, the director said, "Both of them have a great sense of humor, and their chemistry in 'Golmaal' will be talked about. The film has an ensemble cast, including Payal Rajput, Tanya Hope, Yogi Babu, Naren, Manobala, Subbu Panchu, Vaiyapuri, Yugi Sethu, Sanjana Singh, Sadhu Gokila, Vipin Siddharth, Ramesh Khanna, KSG Venkatesh, Malavika, George Mariyan, and Madhu Sneha".## An erstwhile assistant of K. Bhagyaraj and K.S. Ravikumar, Ponkumaran had earlier scripted superstar Rajinikanth's 'Lingaa'. Having directed successful Kannada films, including 'Vishnuvardhana', 'Yejamana' and the Tamil-Kannada bilingual 'Charulatha', 'Golmaal' will be a Tamil film from Ponkumaran.## The technical crew comprises cinematographer S. Hyderabad, September 10, 2021: Gopichand and Tamannaah starrer sports action film "Seetimaarr" has been released in theaters on September 10 in Telugu. The movie, directed by Sampath Nandi and produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the banner of Srinivasaa Silver Screen, was supposed to release on September 3 but was postponed to give it a festival release on Ganesh Chaturthi. ## Seetimaarr carried a good buzz before the release, thanks to the massy songs and Gopichand's popularity as a mass actor. Chakra Review: Vishal's Crime Thriller Gets Positive Response From The Audiences

One of the long-awaited Tamil movies, Chakra hit theaters on February 19 on around 1500 screens worldwide. Starring Vishal, the film was initially supposed to have its theatrical release on 1 May 2020 coinciding with May Day but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India. Even after the lockdown lifted and theaters reopened, Chakra had to face many challenges before it finally saw a release. ## Based on cybercrimes and e-commerce scams, the story of the film revolves around the robbery by a gang of hackers and cybercriminals on the Independence Day of India. The film is a spinoff to Vishal's 2018 action thriller film Irumbu Thirai. Directed by MS Anandan and produced by Vishal under his banner Vishal Film Factory, the movie also stars Shraddha Srinath, Regina Cassandra, Robo Shankar, Manobala, and Srushti Dange in key roles. ## Chakra also released in the dubbed version of Hindi as Chakra Ka Rakshak by B4U Motion Pictures along with dubbed versions of Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
