Box Office: Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa - The Rise' Set For The Biggest Opening During Covid-19 Pandemic

Hyderabad, December 17 - Telugu superstar Allu Arjun's first Pan-India release, "Pushpa - The Rise" is all set to become the biggest box office grosser during the covid-19 pandemic in India. Released over 3000 screens, "Pushpa" netted an estimated Rs. 55 crore gross on the first day (Friday) for all languages. ## Directed by Sukumar, "Pushpa - The Rise" crossed Pawan Kalyan's Telugu hit "Vakeel Saab's" Rs. 46.50 crores. It also becomes the first Indian film to gross over Rs. 50 crores during the health crisis on the first day. Though the large share of 1st day's collection came through the Telugu version, the Hindi and Tamil versions contributed an estimated Rs. 5-7 crore gross. The Kannada and Malayalam versions couldn't release due to some issues. ## "Pushpa - The Rise", for the Hindi version, grossed an estimated Rs. 2.40 crores despite the limited release due to the "Spider-Man: No Way Home" and other Hindi releases. As compared to the other Hindi dubbed releases, "Pushpa" currently stands (according to early estimates) at number three after "Baahubali - The Beginning" (6.50 crores), and "KGF" (2.65 crores). ## Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, and Muttamsetty Media, "Pushpa - The Rise" was one of the biggest releases of the year in India, and it totally lived up to the expectations. The movie opened to rave reviews from every part of the country with appreciation towards Allu Arjun's performance. ## "Pushpa" is a two-part release and the 2nd part, titled "Pushpa - The Rule", will release in summer 2022. Pushpa: The Rise Hindi Theater Experience: Complete Entertainment

Dec 17, 2021: Being a south Industry fan (also a movie fan), always wanted to see good south movies in Cinema either dubbed Hindi version or English subtitle with the original version. From the first look of Pushpa: The Rise and with the announcement of the Hindi release, already decided to watch Pushpa in the theater. ## And today, the day came, first watched Spiderman: No way Home, enjoy that film too, and then came to second theaters with the only expectations that only 10-15 people will be there in the theater. But I was wrong, When we entered the cinema hall, at least 40-50 people were already there. The final count was 60-70. ## Now, Pushpa Shows started and we forgot that we were watching a dubbed version or original, Dubbing was good but the story of this film was very good and took into the world of Pushpa. ## Then, It was Allu Arjun's show all over, What a Swag, Fighting Scene, Comedy Elements, and most importantly, his body language was enough to entertain throughout the show. I totally loved his character. ## Rashmika Mandana's part was also good and the romance between Allu Arjun and her was taking the story to another level. It was lovely and very realistic in terms of romantic scenes. ## Other characters were also well-written and justified with the movie. ## In the cinema hall, At least, 20-30 times people whistled for Allu Arjun's Swag and on Fight Scenes. The cheering for him was almost constant throughout the show. ## Songs were good even in Hindi dubbing but only 2 songs were not good in Hindi dubbing. Allu Arjun To Hold A Hindi Press Meet In Mumbai On December 16 To Promote 'Pushpa - The Rise'

Mumbai, December 15 - Telugu superstar Allu Arjun is busy giving interviews and in promotional activities for his upcoming action thriller film, "Pushpa - The Rise". Box Office: NBK's 'Akhanda' Roared Past Rs. 100 Crores Worldwide Gross

Hyderabad, December 13 - Telugu movie "Akhanda" has emerged as the biggest blockbuster of actor Nandamuri Balakrishna. After putting on a thundering show at the box office, the action thriller has crossed Rs. 100 crores worldwide gross and has become NBK's first film to achieve the feet. ## Directed by Boyapati Srinu, "Akhanda" already became the highest opening week grosser for NBK, earning Rs. 67.55 crores net in the extended 8-day week. The strong word of mouth helped it to maintain the pace throughout the second weekend for Rs. 9.15 crores. With total worldwide gross collection stands at Rs. 101.50 crores, including the staggering India gross of 89 crores, the movie has turned out to be a hugely profitable venture for the distributors, with an AP/TG share of 52.07 crores. ## The film is a huge blockbuster for its investors in Nizam and other areas. In Nizam alone, it fetched Rs. 17.42 crores gross over 11 days, followed by Ceded with Rs. 13.27 crores.
