AA22xA6 Update: Baahubali Actress Joins Allu Arjun's Mega Movie With Director Atlee

Hyderabad, August 16 - One of the biggest Indian films in the making is a combination of Telugu superstar Allu Arjun and director Atlee, has a famous addition to its already blockbuster casting, which includes Deepika Padukone, Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna, and Janhvi Kapoor. ## According to the latest report by Peepingmoon.com, the makers have roped in South actress Ramya Krishnan, known for her iconic portrayal of Rajamata Sivagami Devi in SS Rajamouli's epic blockbuster Baahubali franchise. She has reportedly been signed on for a prominent role in the action spectacle. ## Set in a parallel universe, AA22xA6 is said to be a high-concept VFX-driven spectacle, to which many national and international artists are attached. To elevate the film's action quotient, Atlee has roped in leading Hollywood stunt choreographers, including Spiro Razatos, who is known for working on Marvel movies and Indian tentpoles like Jawan and War 2. ## The shoot of the film has already commenced in June this year. Shang-Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton has been roped in to help with this 4th instalment with Tom Holland as the titular superhero. ## As the shoot of this much-awaited biggie has kicked off, the details about the star cast are also being revealed. Los Angeles, July 21 - The Hollywood film industry is currently riding high on back-to-back box office successes, with recent titles like F1, Jurassic World Rebirth, and Superman drawing in huge crowds. The upcoming lineup through the year is looking promising, with several titles expected to score big numbers. ## The spotlight shifts to Marvel Studios’ much-anticipated release, Fantastic Four: First Steps — the second reboot of the iconic superhero franchise, which is generating solid buzz ahead of its theatrical debut. Mumbai, June 20 - Bollywood star Ajay Devgn's romantic action comedy Son of Sardaar 2 is reportedly getting a solo release as Maddock Films' romantic comedy Param Sundari is set to be delayed, according to the report by Peepingmoon.com. ## There had been speculation about the postponement of Param Sundari for some time, but the makers recently announced that it would be released on July 25, on the same day SOS2 hits the big screen. But the Maddock has now decided to postpone Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor's film. ## Producer Dinesh Vijan of Maddock believes that Param Sundari has a strong chance of succeeding at the box office, and he doesn’t want it to get lost in a crowded release schedule. 'Avengers: Doomsday' And 'Avengers: Secret Wars' Release Dates Postponed

Los Angeles, May 23 - The new Avengers movies will take more than the earlier scheduled time as Disney has postponed the release dates of Marvel Studios' Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret War by nearly 7 months each. ## Doomsday, which was supposed to be released on May 1st, 2026, will now debut in worldwide theatres on December 18, 2026. On the other hand, Secret Wars has been pushed back to December 17, 2027, from its originally planned May 7, 2027, launch. ## Notably, the new release calendar saw Disney remove several unannounced Marvel titles from its calendar. The date of Feb. 13, 2026, previously slotted for an Untitled Marvel project, has been removed from the schedule. Los Angeles, May 5 - Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts has finished the first weekend at the worldwide box office with $162+ million, slightly under industry projection. The movie, however, is expected to have solid legs with positive word of mouth and critics' reviews by its side. ## The Jake Schreier's directorial blockbuster ignited the domestic (North America) box office with a $76 million 3-day opening weekend, higher than the industry projection. Marvel movies tend to open with much higher collections, but this is a very good start for a new superhero movie, which features lesser-known Marvel heroes. ## The domestic opening of Thunderbolts* is in line with Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings ($75 million) and Eternals ($71 million), which also introduced newer Marvel protagonists. As per Variety, the film will have a strong run due to WOM and reviews, which are among the highest for a Marvel tentpole. ## The overseas box office, Thunderbolts, came below the industry's projection with $86 million during the 5-day weekend in 53 markets. This is lower than Enternals ($90 million) but better than Shang-Chi ($56 million).
