Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey' Ticket On Sale for IMAX 70MM Screenings A Year Before Release Date; Sees Excellent Initial Response

Los Angeles, July 17 - After creating history with Oppenheimer (2023), acclaimed director Christopher Nolan will return to the big screen with the epic action fantasy The Odyssey on July 17, 2026, and there is already massive anticipation for it. ## With exactly a year to go before the release, Universal Pictures and Christopher Nolan have already put the movie on advance sale for IMAX theatres that are equipped to screen the epic in 70MM, which is said to be Nolan's format of choice. ## According to The Hollywood Reporter, this is the first time in history that any tickets have gone on sale a year before a film's release. Reportedly, there are around 30 IMAX locations that are capable of playing 70mm film reels, and the bookings for The Odyssey have opened in 26 of them. ## The initial response to the movie is excellent, as expected. The iconic BFI IMAX in London opened the pre-sales for the movie, and in less than 30 minutes, the midnight and 8 PM shows on July 17 are almost sold out. Los Angeles, October 26 - Tom Holland officially returns to play Spider-Man as Sony Pictures has set Spider-Man 4 release date in July 2026. Shang-Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton will direct this Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film. ## Recently, Holland said that the filming for Spider-Man 4 will commence in the summer of 2025 and now, Sony has confirmed that it would be released on July 24, 2026, two months after Marvel and Disney's Avengers: Doomsday which comes out on May 1, 2026.## Interestingly, Christopher Nolan's untitled next movie will reportedly be released on July 17, 2026, and it stars Tom Holland in the lead role with Matt Damon. Christopher Nolan Confirms His Next Film For 2026 Release

Los Angeles, October 9 - After the box office blockbuster Oppenheimer, maverick filmmaker Christopher Nolan has finalised his next film which will be funded by Universal Pictures.## According to Deadline, Nolan's next will be headlined by Matt Damon and this will mark his third movie with the blockbuster filmmaker after Interstellar (2014) and Oppenheimer (2023). Mumbai, August 2 - Blockbuster Hollywood filmmaker Christopher Nolan's atom bomb movie "Oppenheimer" has crossed the 100 crores net mark at the Indian box office, becoming the first movie of the director to achieve the feat in the country.## "Oppenheimer" tops the 100 crores net mark on its 13th day (2nd Wednesday) in both the versions - English and Hindi. The original English version has contributed approx. 90% of the total collection while the Hindi version has done the remaining. It didn't release in other languages.## Based on the life of American theoretical physicist and polymath J. Christopher Nolan's 'Oppenheimer' Gets A New Explosive Trailer

Mumbai, May 8 - Filmmaker Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer is one of the most-anticipated films releasing this summer. The biographical film is based on the 2005 book American Prometheus by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin. ## The film follows the life of theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, played by Cillian Murphy, the director of the Los Alamos Laboratory during the Manhattan Project in World War II, and his contributions that led to the creation of the atomic bomb.## Ahead of the film's theatrical debut on July 21, 2023, "Oppenheimer" gets a new explosive trailer. The trailer was already leaked yesterday which gives us a peek at the atomic bomb test itself. Interestingly, Nolan recreated the atomic bomb without CGI. ## The new trailer gives shows how Oppenheimer created the deadliest weapon on earth as he is noting that they are in "a race against the Nazis".
