Chiyaan Vikram Provides Basic Plot Details of Much-Awaited 'Cobra'
Hyderabad, August 29 - Versatile Tamil star Chiyaan Vikram is gearing up for the release of his long-awaited film Cobra, which is scheduled to release on August 31 in Tamil and Telugu. The film marks Vikram's return to the big screen after almost three years and he is looking to make it big by going all out with the promotion. ## The "Cobra" team promoted the film in Hyderabad for the Telugu version. During the Hyderabad press meet, Vikram revealed basic plot details and what the story of the film is all about. "Cobra" is going to be one of the longest films of Vikram ever with a runtime of approx. 3 hours but as per the actor, it has enough thrilling moments to keep the audiences on the edge of their seats. ## "Cobra is a psychological thriller with a bit of science fiction, high-octane action, and emotional drama film. My role in the film will have ten variations but the film is not just only about my getups. It has a universally appealing emotional drama which is its biggest USP of it", the "Anniyan" actor said. ## It is not the first Vikram is doing a psychological thriller film. The last film he did in this genre was director Shankar's "Anniyan" (2005), which is considered one of the finest psychological thriller films ever in Indian cinema. The movie won many accolades and went on to become a blockbuster at the box office. The expectations will be the same from "Cobra" as well. ## "Cobra" is directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu and produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar under the banner of Seven Screen Studio. The film stars an ensemble cast with Vikram in the title role alongside Srinidhi Shetty, Irfan Pathan, K. S. Ravikumar, and Roshan Mathew while Anandaraj, Robo Shankar, Miya George, Mirnalini Ravi, and Meenakshi Govindarajan play supporting roles. Legendary A. R.
