Mumbai, February 25 - There have been many films in the past that didn't do well at the box office but were able to find a special place in the hearts of the audiences. "Sanam Teri Kasam" was one such film that received a lot of love from the audience for its music, its heartbreaking love story, and top-notch performance of the lead pair Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane.## Written and Directed by Radhika Rao - Vinay Sapru, "Sanam Teri Kasam" is now gearing up for its sequel after 6 years of the original movie. The sequel will be the continuation of the first part, revolving around Harshvardhan Rane's character. It will go on floors in the second half of 2022 and will be shot at locations in Mumbai and Delhi.## Confirming the news, Vinay Sapru told Bombay Times, "We're really happy that we could crack a story for this one. It moves ahead - it talks about what happens to Harshvardhan Rane's character after Mawra's character dies in the first outing. In that sense, the films are connected with one another. We're all very excited about this. We had been thinking a lot about what we could do to take this film forward into a sequel. It has taken us six years to arrive at this juncture".## "The film has achieved cult status and we didn't want to disappoint the audience with an underwhelming story. So, even though the intention was always there, we didn't proceed until we found a story that both Radhika and I were happy with. While people recall Sanam Teri Kasam for its fantastic songs, there's a beautiful love story at the core. It's urban and contemporary but the films are soaked in the mythological stories that we have all been exposed to in some form. Hyderabad, December 24 - Prabhas-starrer "Radhe Shyam" trailer sets a new record of the most viewed trailer for a Telugu film in 24-hours. ## The "Radhe Shyam" Telugu trailer beats Prabhas' own film "Baahubali 2", which had received 21.81 million views in the first 24-hours, while it took just 22-hours for "Radhe Shyam" to break the record. Currently, the trailer has 22.7 million views for the Telugu version. ## "Radhe Shyam" has simultaneously been shot in Telugu and Hindi. The Hindi trailer got 26+ million views during the same time period and becomes the second most-watched Hindi trailer for a Pan India film. Hyderabad, November 3 - The long-awaited biographical action, "Major", has got a release date. Based on the life of 2008 Mumbai attacks martyr Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the movie, starring Adivi Sesh in the title role of the braveheart, will be released on February 11, 2022, in Hindi, and Telugu, along with a dubbed version of Malayalam, worldwide.## Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, "Major" also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, and Saiee Manjrekar in the female leads while Prakash Raj, Revathi, and Murli Sharma play supporting roles. After Simmba, the actor-director duo of Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty are coming together again for a comedy film titled Cirkus. Ranveer will enact his first-ever double role in the film which is Shetty's take on William Shakespeare's classic play The Comedy of Errors.## Cirkus will be produced and directed by Rohit Shetty while Bhushan Kumar and Reliance Entertainment have presented the film. Apart from Ranveer Singh, the movie will also star Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Varun Sharma in the key roles along with Johny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Siddhartha Jadhav, Murli Sharma, and others.## The movie will go on floors next month and will be shot in Mumbai, Ooty, and Goa.
