After a record-breaking theatrical run, the movie is now available not just in Hindi but also in dubbed Telugu and Tamil versions, allowing the film to tap into a much wider pan-India and global audience. The multilingual release underlines Netflix's strategy to maximise the digital footprint of one of the biggest Hindi blockbusters in recent times, and also sets the stage for the multilingual theatrical release of Dhurandhar 2, which hits the big screens on March 19 in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. Gadar 2 benefited from a massive holiday hangover following the Independence Day surge, which allowed it to maintain an exceptional ₹32.37 crore even on its first working Wednesday. In contrast, Border 2 saw a more pronounced decline after its record-breaking 5-day opening sprint, with collections normalizing to a standard weekday pace. Border 2 followed a historic trajectory during its opening weekend. By the end of its first Monday (Day 4), the film had already amassed ₹180 crore, and with a ₹20 crore collection on Day 5 (Tuesday), it successfully entered the ₹200 crore club in record time.
