Cricketer David Warner Makes Acting Debut With Nithiin's 'Robinhood'

Hyderabad, March 4 - Former Australian cricketer David Warner is all set for his acting debut with the upcoming Tollywood film Robinhood starring Nithiin with director Venky Kudumula. The action drama film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers. ## David Warner, who was a part of the IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad which won the tournament in 2016 under his captaincy, is a popular name in Telugu states. His love for Telugu films is not a secret as he has often expressed his love for Telugu by sharing Instagram reels and dancing to Telugu film songs. ## A couple of months ago, a picture of David Warner from a movie set went viral and fans assumed that it was for Pushpa 2 - The Rule. Ram Charan's 'Game Changer' With Director Shankar To Release On Christmas 2024

Hyderabad, July 21 - Telugu superstar Ram Charan's political action thriller Game Changer with director S. Shankar has finally locked its release date after being in production for nearly 3 years. It is the actor's first film since the epic blockbuster RRR in March 2022.## Producer Dil Raju, during the Telugu pre-release event of Dhanush's Raayan, delighted the fans by announcing the Game Changer will be hitting the big screen on Christmas 2024, however, the exact date is not yet revealed.## The Christmas 2024 weekend already has a couple of big movies in the lineup in the form of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan's Sitare Zameen Par and Hollywood biggie, Mufasa: The Lion King along with Varun Dhawan's Baby John and Nithiin's Robinhood. ## Game Changer has been in production since October 2021 but due to director Shankar's other commitments, the shoot of the movie was delayed on many occasions before it finally concluded in July this year. Naga Chaitanya's 'Thandel' To Clash With Nithiin-Starrer 'Robinhood' And Hollywood Blockbuster 'Mufasa: The Lion King'

Hyderabad, April 17 - Telugu cinema is gearing up for a blockbuster second half of 2024 at the box office with several Pan India as well as other much-awaited films lined up for the release. Besides tier-1 heroes' films, Christmas 2024 is setting up to see a three-way clash between two Tollywood films and a Hollywood blockbuster. ## Earlier in the day (April 17), it was officially announced that Nithiin's adventures entertainer Nithiin with director Venky Kudumula would be hitting worldwide theatres on December 20 this year. This movie marks the actor-director duo's reunion after the super hit Bheeshma (2020) which was Kudumula's last directorial. ## Now, as per the latest Telugu media reports, Naga Chaitanya's much-awaited romantic action thriller Thandel, directed by Karthikeya 2 fame Chandoo Mondeti, is also confirmed to hit the big screens on December 20, locking in for the direct box office clash with Nithiin-starrer. ## Apart from the aforementioned two films, Hollywood biggie Mufasa: The Lion King, a prequel to 2019's The Lion King, is already placed for December 20. Nani and Mrunal Thakur's 'Hi Nanna' Pre-Release Theatrical Business Details

Hyderabad, December 6 - Telugu star Nani and actress Mrunal Thakur team up for the first to headline a romantic family drama film Hi Nanna, directed by debutant Shouryuv. The film is scheduled to release on December 7th in multiple languages and the booking for the same is opened. ## Produced by Vyra Entertainments, Hi Nanna is carrying decent buzz among the fans and trade, and as a result, the film scored a good pre-release theatrical business. According to T2BLive, the makers have sold the theatrical rights of the film for approx. 27.50 crores for all areas worldwide. ## For the Nizam area, the film has been sold in approx. 7.50 crores while the entire AP/TG theatrical rights fetched approx. 19.50 crores. The business for the rest of India has been fixed at approx. 1.75 crores while overseas business is approx. 3 crores.## Hi Nanna will need to score 28 crores share collection or 45+ worldwide gross in order to break even and emerge as a clean hit. Given the track record of Nani, the upcoming film should be able to break even comfortably, despite it clashing with Nithiin's "Extra". ## Nani was last seen in "Dasara" which was a box office success despite high business value. Rashmika Mandanna Grabs Director Anees Bazmee's Action Comedy Opposite Shahid Kapoor

Mumbai, May 11 - South Indian sensation Rashmika Mandanna is on a roll with back-to-back Bollywood films. After winning appreciation in "Goodbye" and "Mission Majnu", Rashmika now seems to be in a hurry to sign multiple Bollywood films. ## The actress is already in director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's "Animal" opposite Ranbir Kapoor and also reportedly signed Dinesh Vijan's historical drama "Chhava" with Vicky Kaushal playing the lead. And now, according to the latest reports, the 27-year-old grabs director Anees Bazmee's next. ## It has been reported that Anees Bazmee would be teaming up with Shahid Kapoor for an action comedy film and the latest reports say that Rashmika has joined the cast as the female lead. The yet-untitled movie will be produced by Dil Raju and Ekta Kapoor with whom Rashmika previously worked on "Goodbye" and "Varisu". ## The movie will reportedly feature Shahid Kapoor in a double role for the first time in his career. It is an action comedy entertainer with a quirky storyline. The rest of the cast is being finalized and will be announced soon. ## The shoot of the film is expected to begin in August this year after Shahid completes Rosshan Andrrews' investigative thriller, which is the remake of the Malayalam movie "Mumbai Police" for Roy Kapur Films. The actor, meanwhile, will next be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar's "Bloody Daddy" which premieres on Jio Cinema on June 9, and also has Dinesh Vijan's robotic romance comedy, scheduled to release later this year.## Rashmika Mandanna, on the other hand, will be seen in "Animal", scheduled for August 11 release, along with a slice-of-life Telugu film "Rainbow" and an untitled film with Nithiin. The 'Bheeshma' Duo of Nithiin and Rashmika Mandanna To Reunite For Another Film

Hyderabad, March 20 - Telugu actor Nithiin and actress Rashmika Mandanna are all set to reunite for a new feature film. It will be directed by Venky Kudumula who made his debut with the romantic comedy "Chalo" which also happened to be Rashmika's Telugu debut film. ## The yet-untitled movie will mark the second time collaboration of Nithiin and Rashmika after the superhit "Bheeshma" (2020). Interestingly, the movie was directed by Venky Kudumula and now, the trio is reuniting for another film. ## According to the reports, the movie will officially be launched on March 24 and a small glimpse video is expected to be released on March 30 with the announcement of shoot commencement. Noted production house Mythri Movie Makers will bankroll this film. ## Rashmika, meanwhile, is currently shooting for Bollywood biggie "Animal", co-starring Ranbir Kapoor, and highly-anticipated Pan India blockbuster "Pushpa - The Rule" with Allu Arjun. Karthikeya 2 Set To Extend Tollywood's Winning Streak

Hyderabad, August 13 - The Tollywood film industry is leading the charge once again and giving hits after hits. The most fruitful industry during the covid-19 pandemic, Tollywood back on track with Bimbisara, and Sita Ramam, which are heading towards big blockbuster status, and now, another Telugu film is set to join the party. ## Actor Nikhil Siddharth's supernatural adventure thriller film Karthikeya 2 has been released in theaters today with packed houses. The movie was postponed multiple times but the makers never let the buzz fade away. It was the film that the makers promised to be a big screen spectacle and it hasn't disappointed the audiences. ## "Karthikeya 2" is getting positive responses all around from critics and audiences alike and the initial response at the box office indicates that the movie is going to be a sure-shot hit, and will help the industry to extend its winning streak which started with the aforementioned two films. ## The Chandoo Mondeti-directed film has been valued at 12 crores in Telugu states and it looks like, the movie will recover total investment within a week.
