Mumbai, August 13 - The Spy Universe from Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films has completed over a decade with five blockbuster titles during this time. The studio has delivered many iconic blockbusters, from romantic to family dramas, and action entertainers, but Spy Universe is a whole new world altogether, with some of the biggest blockbusters coming from it. ## The YRF Spy Universe has delivered some of Bollywood's biggest opening days, and with the upcoming War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR, the franchise is once again in the spotlight. 'Laapataa Ladies' Beats 'Pathaan' and 'Salaar' At The Japan Box Office

Tokyo, November 21 - Aamir Khan's production Laapataa Ladies, which is also India's official Oscar 2025 entry, has beaten the lifetime collection of Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan and Prabhas-fronted Salaar: Ceasefire at the Japanese box office. ## Directed by Kiran Rao, the rural comedy-drama has minted over ¥50 million (2.75+ crore gross) in 45 days so far. Pathaan had grossed approximately 50 million yen while Salaar: Ceasefire earned approximately 46 million yen. Both the films were 2 of the biggest Indian grossers of 2023. ## The total worldwide collection of Laapataa Ladies is approximately 31 crores gross, including 25 crores gross at the Indian box office. The movie was a decent success in India. It is expected to have a good run at the Japanese box office. ## As said, Laapata Ladies is the 14th highest-grossing Indian movie in Japan. Aamir Khan Reacts To End-Credit Scene of 'Pathaan' Featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan

Mumbai, November 12 - Yash Raj Films' spy action thriller Pathaan starring Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham, and Deepika Padukone along with a cameo of Salman Khan, is one of the biggest blockbusters of Indian cinema with over 1000 crores collection at the worldwide box office. ## Apart from the film's historic box office performance, the Sidharth Anand's directorial was the first movie since the iconic Karan Arjun (1995) when SRK and Salman Khan reunited on the big screen and that was one biggest highlights of the film, especially end-credit scene which went viral. ## In that scene, King Khan's character interacts with Salman's Tiger after the latter saves him, "Hume hi karna padega bhai, desh ka sawaal hai, baccho pe nahi chood sakte". Mumbai, October 22 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will reportedly appear in Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR-fronted War 2 which is easily one of the most-anticipated Pan India movies. The movie is directed by Ayan Mukerji and also stars Kiara Advani as the female lead. ## War 2 is part of Yash Raj Films' famous Spy Universe which means the character from other movies will have a crossover at some point in the upcoming movies. A Sequel To Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan In Development At Yash Raj Films

Mumbai, February 20 - A sequel to Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's spy action thriller Pathaan is reportedly in development at Yash Raj Films. It is touted to be the 8th movie in the studio's ambitious Spy Universe. ## In January 2023, SRK made his Spy Universe debut with Pathaan and also marked his comeback to the big screen after 4 years. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the movie went on to gross over 1000 crores at the worldwide box office and became the highest-grossing Spy Universe film and one of the biggest Indian blockbusters of all time. ## It has been reported that YRF is now focusing solely on Spy Universe and has already lined up a couple of projects.
