Box Office: 'Laila Majnu' Re-Release Earns 2X Of Its Original Collection In 14 Days
Mumbai, August 22 - Triptii Dimri and Avinash Tiwary's romantic drama Laila Majnu was recently re-released at the Indian box office and surprisingly, it has turned out to be a big success for the makers. ## There have been rare instances when a re-released film matched its original release collection but Laila Majnu has exceeded expectations to earn nearly 2X of its original run. Released in 2018, the movie grossed approximately 3.20 crores in India. ## Since its proper re-release on August 10, Laila Majnu has so far grossed approximately 6.15 crores in box office collection in 14 days (including today, August 12). The movie was excellent in the first 6 days with a collection of nearly 5 crores before new releases affected its pace. Still, the movie is earning decently. ## There was a question mark on how Laila Majnu would sustain after the arrival of Stree 2, Khel Khel Mein, and Vedaa. While the pace has definitely slowed down, the movie refused to die down completely against biggies which might lead to its long run as there. ## Stay tuned...
