Mumbai, July 1 - In no time, Pan India superstar Prabhas has another movie in the 100 crores net club in Hindi.## The sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin, has become the 6th film and third consecutive for the Baahubali star to achieve the milestone of 100 crores net in the dubbed version. The movie took just 4 days to enter the coveted box office club. ## The sensational blockbuster scored an estimated 39 crores net on Sunday which takes its total collection to over 111 in Hindi. In terms of days taken to reach 100 crores Hindi net, Kalki 2898 AD is the 26th fastest to do so. ## The list of the fastest films in 100 crores net club includes 5 movies in 2 days, 15 movies in 3 days, and 9 movies in 4 days. Kalki has surpassed the 4-day collection of Dunki (105.60 crores), Golmaal Again (103.60 crores), Krrish 3 (101.50 crores), and Raees (101.40 crores). ## As said, it is the 6th movie of Prabhas, after Baahubali, Baahubali 2, Saaho, Adipurush, and Salaar to reach 100 crores net in Hindi. On the other hand, Deepika Padukone, who played the female lead in the film, has her 10th movie in this prestigious club. ## Kalki 2898 AD will aim to become Prabhas' second-biggest Hindi grosser by the end of the first week by crossing Salaar (152.65 crores net). Los Angeles, July 1 - It's raining records for Prabhas-fronted sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD which has scored the biggest opening weekend for an Indian movie in North America as it entered in the top 10 highest-grossing Indian film there, according to trade analyst Luiz Fernando. ## Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD scored an estimated $11.2 million (93.35 crores) in the 4-day opening weekend+Wednesday previews and is now the 8th biggest Indian title there after beating Salaar: Ceasefire's $8.90 million, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani's $10.6 million, and PK's $10.60 million entire run there. ## Kalki 2898 AD will next surpass Padmaavat ($12.20 million) and Dangal ($12.40 million) in the next couple of days as the 6th highest-grossing Indian title in North America. The movie will aim to enter the top 5 by next weekend and will eventually look to finish in the top 3, possibly as the biggest Indian grosser there at the end of its run. ## In the top 10 weekend grosser in North America, Kalki 2898 AD opened at number 5, beating Hollywood titles - The Garfield Movie ($2 million) and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes ($1.7 million). Mumbai, June 30 - All hell loose as Prabhas-fronted sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD hits the ball out of the park on its first Sunday as the movie is showing a jump of around 40% in the dubbed Hindi version which is phenomenal as Saturday was itself huge with approximately 26 crores net collection. ## The collection on Saturday was affected by the final of the T20 World Cup to some extent but Sunday made up for the lost ground. As said, Kalki 2898 stormed past the 100 crores net mark in the 4-day extended weekend after an estimated 38-40+ crores net (45-47+ crores gross) on its first Sunday for a total of around 110 crores net (~130 crores gross) in Hindi. ## The Hindi version collection is strong everywhere, be it in mass centres or multiplex and the trend is such that it will score well during the weekdays as there were some capacity issues at some places which are expected to come good in the coming days.## Apart from Hindi, the rest of the other versions were also firing all calendars on Sunday as the overall collection is flirting with 100 crores gross as estimates suggest 95-105 crores for all versions today and it could higher depending on South versions. If the Sunday estimates hold, the movie will touch 300+ crores net (355+ crores gross) in the 4-day opening weekend. ## The worldwide collection of the movie is, at least, 485+ crores gross in 4 days with a high possibility of crossing 500 crores when the actual overseas collection is made official tomorrow. Hyderabad, June 30 - A day after India's cricket World Cup glory, Prabhas-fronted Kalki 2898 AD is running riot and is potentially looking to score the second big day if not the biggest at the domestic box office in its short run so far. ## To understand the mass rampage Kalki 2898 AD is having today, it has crossed the peak hourly sold ticket count of superstar Shah Rukh Khan-fronted Jawan to create a new record on the ticketing platform, Book My Show. Last year, Jawan peaked with 86K tickets sold in a single hour on BMS, and now, Kalki has become the first movie to top 90K hourly peak count and is likely to top 100K during the day. ## Directed by Nag Ashwin, the sci-fi epic has already earned around 370 crores gross collection at the worldwide box office in the first three days, and it will surely top 500 crores at the end of its 4-day opening weekend to become only the 6th Indian movie to do in the first weekend. ## Earlier yesterday, sold 1.28 million tickets on BMS which is a record since the platform started reporting ticket count on its app, and it seems, Sunday will be even bigger. ## The movie is produced by C. Hyderabad, June 30 - Director Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD has topped 300 crores gross at the worldwide box office after the huge first Saturday despite the India and South Africa T20 World Cup final match which saw Men In Blue emerging winner in a thriller clash. ## The Prabhas-starrer movie, however, largely remained unaffected and grossed over 100 crores worldwide on its third day. On the ticketing platform Book My Show, Kalki sold 1.28 million tickets (12.80 lahks) on day 3, a jump of around 15% on the second-day ticket count of 1.12 million on the platform. ## The movie grossed an estimated 77+ crores in India on its third day, which pushed the domestic total to around 260 crores. Mumbai, June 28 - Prabhas-fronted sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD heading for 90+ crores 4-day opening weekend in Hindi with an outside chance of touching 100 crores net after the perfect hold on its second day. The movie scored approximately 22.50 crores net its Thursday opening day. ## Kalki is witnessing a drop under 10% on its second day, Friday, for an estimated 21-22+ crores net which might be on the higher end, depending on hold in mass centres. The total collection of Hindi versions is 43.50+ crores net and with big Saturday and Sunday coming, it should clear 90 crores weekend. ## The growth on Saturday might not be a regular one for a well-received film due to the World Cup final between India and South Africa but it can be made up with bigger growth on Sunday. Word of mouth is positive, and Monday's hold could determine its longevity. The movie will also be topping the 100 crore net mark by Sunday or Tuesday max as another film of Prabhas in this club. ## Kalki 2898 AD had an opening day of approximately 114 crores gross in India in all versions which made it the first Indian movie of 2024 to cross the 100 crores gross opening day domestically. Mumbai, June 28 - Pan India superstar Prabhas is set for another good ride at the Hindi box office after his sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD off to a superb start with approximately 22.50 crores net collection. The opening of the film is in the range of Hrithik Roshan's Fighter with a minor difference as the joint biggest of the year.## As has often been said in the last few years, Prabhas has emerged as the biggest superstar on the Pan India level and easily the biggest South India-origin star in the North. Despite his films not reaching the high end of the target, the actor has consistently delivered in Hindi, which the Bollywood stars have failed to do regularly. ## Since Baahubali (2015) which opened at 5.15 crores net in Hindi, Prabhas has done 6 movies, including Baahubali 2 and except for Radhe Shyam and Salaar, all the movies have taken an opening of 20+ crores net in the dubbed Hindi version. Radhe Shyam was a major misfire with just 4.80 crores net opening, largely due to the COVID-19 effect. Salaar did open well at around 16 crores net to lead a strong finish of over 150 crores net.## Baahubali 2 remains the biggest opener for Mirchi star in Hindi with 41 crores net, followed by Adipurush with 37.25 crores opening. Though the other movies couldn't come close to the opening of Baahubali 2 or Adipurush, they opened big enough to pave the way for the big lifetime finish. ## As said before, Prabhas is the only South Indian origin actor to have 5 films in the 100 crores net club in Hindi and with Kalki also performing well, the superstar will have 6 movies on the list, including a 500+ crores mega-blockbuster in Baahubali 2. Hyderabad, June 28 - Director Nag Ashwin's sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD has had a sensational opening day at the domestic box office, clearing 100 crores gross mark and was equally strong overseas to put the movie among the top three biggest Indian openers of all-time. ## In India, the Prabhas-starrer blockbuster grossed approximately 114 crores in all versions. There were expectations of the movie scoring much more but the mass centres in Telugu states didn't show up as expected which kept the movie a little below the projected mark but big enough to set the tone for a massive opening weekend. ## In terms of language-wise gross collection, the original Telugu version scored approximately 78.50 crores, followed by the Hindi version with approximately 27 crores, and the rest of the languages grossed around 8.50 crores. The Telugu version faired below expectations but it is expected to maintain a solid hold over the weekend.## Overseas, Kalki 2898 AD grossed an estimated 61 crores on opening day, for a worldwide 175 crores start which is the third biggest ever for an Indian movie behind RRR (223 crores) and Baahubali 2 (217 crores). Mumbai, June 27 - Kalki 2898 AD is off to a flying start a the Indian box office and is flirting with a potential 95 crores net collection in all languages. It has easily taken the biggest opening of the year and the biggest since KGF 2 by a long margin. ## Starring Prabhas in the lead role, the sci-fi epic is estimated to gross 65-70 crores in Telugu states, followed by 26-28 crores in North India. In Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala, the movie is expected to gross an estimated 18-20 crores, for 110-115 crores (95 crores net) in all versions. ## The Hindi version of the movie is eyeing the biggest opening of the year beating Fighter. The Hrithik Roshan-starrer is currently the biggest Hindi opener of the year with 22.50 crores net and Kalki is looking to score an estimated 22-23 crores net collection. ## The initial word of mouth seems to be positive which should help the movie to consolidate the collection over the weekend. Los Angeles, June 27 - Director Nag Ashwin's sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD starring Pan India superstar has outgrossed SS Rajamouli's period action drama RRR to score the biggest premiere for an Indian movie in North America.## RRR, starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan, scored a $3.3 million gross collection on its North America premiere in March 2022, and now, two years later, Kalki has beaten this record. The movie grossed $3.85 (32.10 crores) on premiere day in NA. ## Kalki 2898 AD scored $4.25 million in pre-sales for the entire weekend and could be among the top 10 movies this weekend in North America. As for the record, SS Rajamouli and Prabhas' Baahubali 2 is the highest-grossing Indian film in North America with approximately $22 million, followed by Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan and Jawan with $17.50 million and $15.25 million, respectively. Kalki will look to finish in the top 3. ## Meanwhile, the movie has taken an excellent opening in India and is on track to 120+ crores on opening day, and with overseas opening to a strong note, the worldwide opening is expected to be in the range of 200 crores as projected.
