Hyderabad, December 24 - Salaar has had an excellent hold on its second day at the domestic box office, and today, the movie witnessed a jump of around 10%, which is very good considering the second-day collection itself was huge at 56+ crores net in all versions. ## The Prabhas-fronted action drama, on its first Sunday/third day, scored an estimated 60+ crores net collection, which takes the total cume to over 200 crores at around 208 in all versions. In Hindi, Salaar has its best day so far with an estimated around 20 crores net, taking the total Hindi net past 50 crores at 52+ in three days. ## The Prashanth Neel's directorial blockbuster is performing exceptionally well across the board with Telugu states leading the charge, followed by the Hindi belt which is, as said, the key to the film's overall success. So far, the Hindi version has performed very well despite the clash with an outright Bollywood film like Dunki.## Salaar will get the benefit of the Christmas holiday tomorrow which also helped its Sunday biz to score jump as night shows are performing well which is not the usual case with Telugu movies in a normal weekend. Hyderabad, December 23 - After one of the biggest openings of all time, superstar Prabhas-fronted Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire has a strong hold on its second day with a drop of around 45% in all versions. The hold is excellent considering the first day was massive in every sense. ## According to early estimates, Salaar is looking to over 50 crores and may go towards 55 crores net in all versions when actuals come in the morning. The Hindi version of the film is showing more or less the same trend today as compared to the first day as it scored an estimated 16 crores net today. ## The film's total net collection after two days is over 140 crores in all versions, including 31+ crores in Hindi which is a very good number for a dubbed version released against an outright Bollywood movie like Dunki starring a big star. Hyderabad, December 22 - Superstar Prabhas-fronted Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire has taken an earth-shattering opening at the domestic as well as the worldwide box office, easily becoming the biggest Indian opener of 2023, and one of the biggest of all-time. ## Directed by Prashanth Neel, the action drama started showing its dominance in the first show itself and remained unshakable throughout the day, especially in the original Telugu language. Hyderabad, December 21 - Director Prashanth Neel has been living a dream of seeing the theatres getting filled for one of his initial subjects in a new form and he couldn't have teamed up with a bigger star than Prabhas to do that for him and the time has finally arrived in a few hours. ## Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire has been in the making for the last two years and it is easily one of the most anticipated Indian films. Produced by Hombale Films, the movie is seen as a big comeback for Prabhas in particular after a few box office misfires over the last few years. ## Even though the recent films of Prabhas couldn't repeat the heroics of his past films they still scored big openings and Salaar is not going to be any different on that front. The movie is targeting one of the biggest openings for an Indian title at the worldwide box office looking at the pre-sales trend. ## The bookings of Salaar, despite not getting much support from national chains, are outstanding, to say the least. In India, the film has already grossed over 42 crores from online bookings while overall sales (including offline shows) should be around 60 crores for the opening day in all languages which is excellent. ## As per the booking trend, Salaar opening in India is tracking to over 100 crores gross as it is expected to be somewhere around 100-110 crores gross. In its main market, Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana), the film is expected to take the opening in the vicinity of 70 crores, which is one of the biggest ever. ## The Hindi market is going to be a key to Salaar's overall success and as per the booking trend, the movie is heading for a good start. It is mass-friendly and is expected to score around 20 crores gross in the Hindi belt. In Karnataka, the movie is projected to gross around 12 crores on the opening day, followed by 4+ crores in Kerala, and over 3 crores in Tamil Nadu. ## The overseas pre-sales of the movie are fantastic and the opening in international markets is expected to be 45+ crores, which will make it 150-160 crores opening day at the worldwide box office, making it the biggest for an Indian film of 2023.## The aforementioned projections are purely based on the booking trend and how pan-India Telugu films have behaved in the past, so these numbers may vary by some margin. "Ugramm was made for theatres. It was made for the cinema halls and I always had that pain. Not to take away anything from KGF, but the idea, the world-building, came to me from Ugramm. Mumbai, December 19 - The ticketing website Book My Show's server crashed after the advance booking of superstar Prabhas-fronted Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire opened in the Telugu states as thousands of fans jumped to the website to book their tickets. ## The pre-sales, which were moving on at a decent pace, witnessed a sudden jump and crossed the 10 crores gross mark in no time. The action drama film directed by Prashanth Neel is now selling tickets at jet speed in advance which indicates a massive opening in Telugu states. ## As of 11 PM on December 19, Salaar sold over 400K tickets worth 10+ crores gross in all languages for the opening day in India. Mumbai, December 19 - Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is on cloud nine after the all-time blockbuster success of action drama Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor.
