Los Angeles, August 26 - Two of the biggest Indian movies of the year, Prabhas-fronted Salaar Part 1 - Ceasefire and Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan on course to emerge massive openers at the US box office as the advance booking for both the movies are continuing with the great momentum. ## Directed by Prashanth Neel, Salaar is literally going berserk in its pre-booking and is certain to emerge as one of the biggest Indian openers there. According to the tracker, Venky Reviews, the film has sold approximately 14620 tickets worth $418.8K (3.50 crores) so far from 1012 shows in 337 locations for the premieres. ## The advances opened just a few days back and there are still 31 days left for the first show (28 Sept. release). The movie will be eyeing at least $1.5+ million in premiere advance sales and the opening day (including premieres) could well be around $4 million. At this point in time, the movie is competing with SS Rajamouli's RRR opening in the USA. ## Shah Rukh Khan's action thriller Jawan, on the other hand, is also having strong advance sales in the USA. The movie, scheduled to release on September 7, has crossed $200K (1.65 crores) for the opening day in the advance booking. At the time of the last report, it reached $210.40K (1.75 crores).
