Mumbai, February 4 - Actress Kriti Sanon is busy with the promotion of the family action drama film "Shehazada", co-starring Kartik Aaryan. The movie is scheduled to release on February 17 in theaters worldwide. ## After "Shehzada", Kriti will next be seen in the epic "Adipurush" which is based on Ramayana. The movie has been in the news for various reasons which led makers to postpone the release from January to June 2023. Kriti has played the role of Sita while Prabhas will be seen as Lord Ram. ## "Ramayana" has been a part of Indian culture and is beloved by every Indian around the globe. Kriti, during a recent media interaction, asserted the same thing saying that "Adipurush" is more than just a film and she hopes the movie gets love from audiences.## "It is a film that the entire team is extremely proud of. I hope and pray that people will also equally be proud of it. It is something that is so important to all of us. It is just not a film for us, it is way more than that. I hope it gets its due. Hyderabad, February 1 - Superstar Prabhas's sci-fi film, tentatively titled "Project K" with director Nag Ashwin is going the "Baahubali" way.## The highest-anticipated film has been in production for a long time now. Also starring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani, the movie was supposed to release in 2022 but due to the delay in production, the maker postponed the release until officially announced. ## "Project K" is set in a futuristic world with never before seen visuals around the possibility of a 3rd World War. It is kind of the film that hasn't been touched before in Indian cinema and thus, makers are taking extra care in the making and coming up with the rock-solid output. ## According to Pinkvilla, it has now been revealed that "Project K" will be released in two parts, just like "Baahubali" which is one of the most loved Indian films of all time. The shoot for the first part of "Project K" is said to be wrapped up and filming for the second part is currently going on at a brisk pace. ## "The vision and plot point of Project K is so big that the makers have decided to make it a 2-part film. While the first part will establish the world and conflict of this magnum opus, the entire drama will unfold in the second half, much like what happened in the Bahubali Franchise. Bengaluru, December 24 - It has been a year to savor for Hombale Films which delivered two of the biggest blockbusters in the form of KGF: Chapter 2 and Kantara at the box office. The studio is fast becoming one of the most bankable across the country and drawing huge audiences to the theaters. ## Hombale Films is no longer a regional production studio after such mega success and its founder, Vijay Kiragandur believes they have now bigger responsibility to deliver quality content and said that their real challenge begins in 2023 with the kind of films the studio has in the line-up, including potential blockbuster, Salaar, starring Prabhas. ## "We have a lot of responsibility right now in terms of selecting the right content and devising the right marketing strategies. Next year is going to be challenging for us", Kiragandur told indianexpress.com.## Prabhas-fronted "Salaar" is currently in production under the direction of Prashanth Neel, who also directed "KGF 2" which grossed over 1200 crores worldwide. There have been multiple reports about "Salaar" coming in two parts, but the makers never confirmed that same. During the interview, Kiragandur said that they are very much open to the sequels to both "Salaar" and "Kantara" along with "KGF 3" and there might be multiple of them for Prabhas-starrer.## "At present, we are open to that idea. We are also open to making sequels for Salaar. We will take the call after we watch the finished film. The same is with KGF 3. After Prashanth is done with Salaar, we will discuss it".## "85 percent shooting of Salaar is complete and by January 2023, we will complete the remaining shoot. We need six months for the VFX work and on September 28 will release it in cinemas", the producer added and promised that "Salaar" will be an out-an-out mass entertainer. "I saw the rushes. It's an out-and-out action film. Prabhas and Prithviraj have done a superb job".## "I believe this film (Salaar) has the potential to beat the box office records created by our films so far", he said.## Prabhas plays the title role of "Salaar" in the movie that also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu, among others in key roles. The teaser, which was launched in early October, got mixed to negative responses which forced the makers to take a step back and re-work the quality of the movie. ## It was recently revealed that the movie would not able to meet its original release date of January 12, 2023, and would be delayed, which the makers officially confirmed and announced June 16, 2023, release. However, as per the latest reports, "Adipurush" will be further delayed as the makers are re-working on the entire VFX shots. ## It is said that the budget of "Adipurush" will be increased by approx. 100 crores and the release might get delayed to Sankranthi 2024. It was supposed to be Prabhas' next release, but now, it seems his action thriller "Salaar" with director Prashanth Neel will be hitting theaters first. ## "Salaar", produced by Hombale Films, was announced for September 28, 2023, release and it is very much on track to meet the date without any issues.
