Mumbai, September 4 - Superstar Prabhas is preparing himself for the release of one of the biggest films of his career, Adipurush, based on the epic Ramayana. ## The Om Raut-directed film is scheduled to release on January 12, 2023, and there is already massive anticipation for the movie in the trade. ## Prabhas' last "Radhe Shyam" was produced by UV Creations and T-Series, and according to Telugu 360, UV Creations has acquired the Telugu theatrical rights of the movie. ## Prabhas shares a very good bond with the producers and it is said that he has asked them to grab the film's distribution rights for the Telugu version. ## The report says that UV Creations bagged the rights for Rs 100 crores and they are expected to score a big profit from this particular movie. Arguably the biggest Hindi film ever, the fantasy adventure film tells the story of Ancient Indian Astras, led by Brahmastra, which is considered the most powerful Astra among all of them. ## "Brahmastra" carries a lot of expectations regarding its box office potential. The adaptation of Ramayana, "Adipurush" is the most expansive Indian film to date with an estimated budget of 500 crores. Shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu languages, the film stars Prabhas as Raghava, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh. ## This is the first time that multiple films based on Ramayana and other Hindu mythology are coming out on a regular space. "Ramayana" has been a massive hit on television in the 1980s and now, it is coming to the big screen. Hyderabad, August 30 - Superstar Prabhas' one of the biggest hits Billa is getting ready to re-release in theaters. According to the latest development, the gangster film will have its remastered 4K special shows on October 23 to celebrate the 43rd birthday of the "Baahubali" star. ## Directed by Meher Ramesh, "Billa" is the remake of the 1978 Hindi film "Don" starring Amitabh Bachchan. It t is the second remake of Don in Telugu after Yugandhar (1979). Prabhas played a dual role in the movie alongside Krishnam Raju, Anushka Shetty, Hansika Motwani, Namitha, Rahman, and Kelly Dorjee. ## "Billa" was produced by Gopi Krishna Movies and was a box office hit with an AP/TG share collection of approx. 15 crores. The re-release of "Billa" will not make any significant change in the film's lifetime box office as it is getting special treatment only to celebrate Prabhas' birthday and income generated through re-release will be spent on welfare causes. ## Telugu audience is one of the most loyal towards their respective favorite stars and time and again, they get the opportunity to celebrate their stars through special shows of blockbuster films. Mumbai, August 26 - Actor Nikhil Siddhartha's blockbuster Karthikeya 2 has surpassed Prabhas and Pooja Hegde's Radhe Shyam's lifetime collection in Hindi languages. Radhe Shyam, which was released earlier in March this year, couldn't do justice to Prabhas' stardom in the Hindi version and ended up collecting only approx. 19.50 crores net. ## "Karthikeya 2", which opened to nothing numbers of just 7 lakh but grow significantly with each passing day after getting excellent reviews and super positive word of mouth. It scored 5.75 crores net in the opening week, followed by 13.52 crores (+235%) net in the second week. The total Hindi collection of the movie after 14 days reached 20.11 crores.## There is no comparison between Radhe Shyam and Karthikeya 2 as the Prabhas-starrer movie was made on a huge budget and scale against K2, which has been made at a fraction of the budget of RS. However, it was the content, where Radhe Shyam fell flat whereas Karthikey 2 has been hailed as one of the best Telugu films of the year, resulting in, it also making huge noise in the dubbed Hindi version as well. ## Directed by Chandoo Mondeti and produced by Abhishek Agarwal and T.G.Vishwa Prasad, "Karthikeya 2" is following the trend of Allu Arjun's "Pushpa - The Rise" in the Hindi version. While Pushpa's lifetime Hindi collection is way out of reach for Karthikeya 2, it still can end up with an excellent lifetime collection. ## "Karthikeya 2" has had a good run at the USA box office so far with over $1 million gross. Apart from his already in-production films, Prabhas also has Sandeep Reddy Vanga's "Spirit" and yet to be announced a big budget film with director Siddharth Anand. ## It was reported last year that Siddharth Anand pitched a story to Prabhas which the actor liked and approved. It was said to be a stylish action thriller, to be backed by Mythri Movie Makers. However, there was no development since then until recently. ## According to Pinkvilla, Siddharth Anand has started preparation for Prabhas' film and is giving the final touch to the script before it is ready to take on floors by mid-2023. Siddharth recently completed the shoot of Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan", which is scheduled to release on January 25, 2023. ## "Both Prabhas and Siddharth are presently busy with their ongoing projects. However, the filmmaker has simultaneously started prepping for his collaboration with Prabhas. The film will be mounted on a large scale, and they want to start shooting for it in mid-2023. Now, the movie is reportedly going through a major change. ## According to inside buzz, producer DVV Danayya, who was supposed to produce the film has backed out due to the continuous delay in the production. It is said that the movie has been put on hold for now due to several commitments of Prabhas right from the shooting of Projekt K, dubbing of Adipurush and Salaar. ## The film is reportedly titled "Raja Deluxe" and will have three actresses. Malavika Mohanan is said to be finalized to play one of the female leads. It is said that a producer of a recent successful film will now produce Prabhas' film with Maruthi. "The trailer (of Sita Ramam) looks incredible. One of the nation's most attractive heroes is Dulquer. What a fantastic movie 'Mahanati' is, and Dulquer in the movie is just so flawless", Prabhas said. ## Prabhas then continued, "The performances of Dulquer and Mrunal are being praised by everyone and Rashmika is the most wanted heroin in the country. Hyderabad, July 28 - Pan India superstar Prabhas has been working on one of the biggest films of his career, "Project K", which is being directed by Nag Ashwin. The movie also stars legendary Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in prominent roles. The sci-fi epic is being produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. ## "Project K" has been in production since last year and it was supposed to hit screens in 2022 but got delayed as the movie is getting shot on a massive scale. Ashwini Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies has provided a massive update on the release date front of "Project K". ## Producer Dutt has revealed during the promotion of "Sita Ramam" that they are planning to release the film on October 18, 2023, on a massive scale. If not October 2023, then they will release the film in January 2024, most probably on the Sankranthi occasion. He revealed that the shooting will be wrapped up by January 2023 and will take a minimum of 8 months in post-production. ## The producer further said that "Project K" will be an "Avengers" kind of film that will surprise one and all. Prabhas will be traffic and Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in a never-before avatar.
