Mumbai, November 25 - Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Preity Zinta-starrer two-decade-old romantic comedy Kal Ho Naa Ho continued to impress in its re-release run at the box office amid the few other choices available. ## Directed by Nikhil Advani, the movie was re-released on November 15 and scored approximately 2.40 crores gross collection in the first week. It remained the number 1 choice in the second weekend among the re-release titles and grossed solid around 1.30 crores. ## After 10 days, the total re-release collection of KHNH is around 3.70 crores gross (3.15 crores net), making it already one of the biggest Bollywood re-release grossers of the year. It comfortably beat Karan Arjun and Pushpa - The Rise which got re-released this past weekend and minuted around 1 crore and 70 lakh gross, respectively in the opening weekend. ## With new releases slowing down, KHNH should run steadily until December 5, when the highly anticipated Pushpa 2—The Rule will be released. Mumbai, November 22 - One of the Bollywood classics from Yash Raj Films, Kal Ho Naa Ho starring Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Preity Zinta, continues to spread magic even after more than 2 decades later.## Directed by Nikhil Advani, the romantic comedy was re-released on November 15, continuing the trend Bollywood has successfully followed throughout this year. The film opened around 12 lakh gross collection from a little over 100 shows before the shows increased from the second day onwards.## Footfalls significantly increased after more shows were added as the movie grossed approximately 90 lakh in the first weekend. The nostalgia factor and popularity among the audiences continued to play its role after the weekend as the Monday collection was almost the same as Saturday. ## The movie grossed approximately 1.50 crores from Monday to Thursday with a positive trend during the weekdays. Mumbai, September 20 - One of the most celebrated Bollywood films of the 21st century, Veer-Zaara starring Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, and Rani Mukerji has entered the 100 crores gross club at the worldwide box office, thanks to its re-release run time and again.## The Yash Chopra's directorial superhit film was recently re-released this month and has crossed approximately 1.75+ crores in the first week. Earlier, the movie had an occasional limited re-release this year where it scored approximately 40 lakh gross collection. ## Apart from 2024, Veer-Zaara has had an occasional re-release from 2005-2023 during which it grossed 2.50 crores. Including the film's original run collection of approximately 97 crores gross globally, its total worldwide collection is now 101.75 crores approx, which includes 37 crores overseas gross.## Produced by Yash Raj Films, Veer-Zaara was originally released on November 12, 2024, on the occasion of Diwali and clashed with Akshay Kumar's Aitraaz. Mumbai, September 16 - As the re-release trend is picking up in Bollywood, the nostalgia factor is bringing the audience to the theatres to revisit some of the evergreen hits. Amid the success of a few re-releases, Yash Raj Film's Veer-Zaara returned to the big screen and scored well in the opening weekend. ## The 20-year-old epic romantic drama, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, and Rani Mukerji, was re-released on September 13 on over 300 shows, which jumped to over 400 shows on Sunday after the positive response at the box office. ## The Yash Chopra's superhit directorial scored approximately 25 lakh gross collection on its opening day upon re-release. The movie witnessed an upward trend on the second day to score approximately 40 lakh gross, followed by another 45+ lakh on Sunday, for approximately 1.10+ crore gross (95 lakh net) opening weekend. ## Earlier in the year, Veer-Zaara had occasional re-releases on limited shows where it grossed approximately 40 lakh collection, and including the latest re-release, the movie has grossed around 1.50 crores this year (1.30 crores net). ## Veer-Zaara was a super hit at the box office in its original run with approximately 97 crores worldwide gross collection. After the re-release this year, the total collection is now around 98.50 crores. Mumbai, May 14 - In October last year, Sunny Deol announced his reunion with veteran director Rajkumar Santoshi for a period action drama film, titled Lahore 1947. Aamir Khan is bankrolling this project which is said to be based on Asghar Wajahat's acclaimed Punjabi play, "Jis Lahore Nai Dekhya O Jamyai Nai".## The shoot of the film, which also stars Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, and Mona Singh in key roles, is going on at a brisk pace and according to the report by Pinkvilla, the entire filming is expected to be wrapped by the end of June this year with nearly a month of the shoot left. ## It is said that Lahore 1947 is loaded with drama and emotions as larger-than-life elements arise out of the dramatic moments and characterization. Meanwhile, the makers are targeting the Republic Day 2025 release as already speculated. The film is in sync with the patriotic mood of Republic Day. ## Lahore 1947 also reportedly has a cameo role of Aamir Khan, however, the makers haven't confirmed the same yet though reports say he has already shot for his portion in the film. It was recently reported that actress Preity Zinta was locked in to play the female lead. She was last seen in Bhaiaji Superhit back in 2018 and it also starred Sunny in the title role. ## Lahore 1947 marks Priety Zinta and Sunny Deol's 5th film together and veteran actress Shabana Azmi will be joining them for a crucial role. It is said that Azmi will be portraying the character of a Hindu matriarch in Lahore. Oscar-winning 'Mozart of Madras' A.R. Rahman wrote just four words in his tribute to Lata Didi and posted a picture that said a thousand words. ## In the picture, AR Rahman can be seen sitting at the Nightingale's feet, showing the respect he has for "Sur Kokila". He captioned the pic. Malang Actors Aditya Roy Kapur & Anil Kapoor To Lead The Night Manager Series After Hrithik Roshan Back Out?

Mumbai, October 1 - For more than a year now, Disney+Hotstar's Indian adaptation of the British mini-series The Night Manager, has been waiting to see the light of the tunnel. However, things are finally looking all settled and the streamer has reportedly roped in Aditya Roy Kapur and Anil Kapoor to lead this big-budget series. ## Earlier, the spy drama series was supposed to be headlined by the Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan and he was reportedly paid a whopping 75 crores for the same. However, just before the series was set to go on floors, Hrithik walked out of the project, and it was put on hold indefinitely. It is reported that Roshan was not comfortable with the long schedules and decided to walk out. ## And now, amid the uncertainty over the project, The Night Manager Indian adaptation is reportedly back on track and will be headlined by the Malang actors. Aditya Roy Kapur is said to be stepping into the shoes of Tom Hiddleston and play the role of a luxury hotel night manager and former Indian soldier while Anil Kapoor will reprise Hugh Laurie's role of an arms dealer who disguises himself to be a business tycoon.## The series will be produced by Preity Zinta in association with Banijay Asia while Sandeep Modi who co-directed Ram Madhvani's Emmay Awards nominated Aarya has been brought on board to direct this six-part.
