Makers Respond To OTT Rumours of Ishaan Khatter and Mrunal Thakur 'Pippa'
Mumbai, March 17 - Over the last couple of days, there have been rumors that Ishaan Khatter and Mrunal Thakur's biopic war drama film Pippa would skip the conventional theatrical release to go for the direct-to-digital release. It was reported that the makers are having issues with multiplex owners over the big-screen release of the film. ## Now, the makers have issued a statement regarding the rumours and said that there is no truth in such reports. Producers Ronnie Screwvala, Siddharth Roy Kapur along with Kamal Gianchandani of PVR Inox who also represents the Multiplex Association Of India (MAI) have issued a statement. ## The statement reads, "RSVP and Roy Kapur Films have no ongoing issues with multiplex operators. Any rumors or articles suggesting otherwise are baseless and unfounded. We are all committed to working together to bring quality content to audiences in cinema across India.
