Tere Ishk Mein Box Office: Crosses Entire India Net of Raanjhanaa To Become Dhanush's Biggest Bollywood Grosser

Mumbai, December 2 - Director Anand L Rai's Tere Ishk Mein is turning out to be a major box office success. Starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, the romantic drama has capitalised on its strong pre-release buzz and is now firmly on track to breach the 100 crores India net mark. Touted as the spiritual sequel to 2013's Raanjhanaa, the latest blockbuster has had a superb opening weekend, followed by a very good hold on Monday to score around 61 crores net, including 58 crores in Hindi in 4 days, becoming Dhanush's biggest Bollywood net grosser. In terms of gross figures, the film is heading to collect over 10 crores gross on Tuesday (Day 5), which will push its domestic gross above 82 crores — already ahead of Raanjhanaa's lifetime total of 81+ crores. The movie also has a shot to outgross Raanjhanaa's worldwide total of 93+ crores under 5 days, depending on where the day ends. With strong word of mouth and steady weekday trends, Tere Ishk Mein is all set to enter the 100 crores net club, mostly by the end of the second weekend. When it does, it will become Dhanush's first 100 crores net film — in Hindi or in any other language — making this success even more special for the National Award-winning actor, whose primary body of work has been in Tamil cinema.
