'Race 4' Story Will Continue From 'Race 2'
Mumbai, September 20 - The fourth instalment of the action thriller franchise Race is in the making with the shoot scheduled to begin early next year. Saif Ali Khan will make his comeback to the franchise in Race 4 with Sidharth Malhotra joining him this time. ## In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, writer of Race 4, Shiraz Ahmed, who also penned the first three films of the franchise, shared details about the upcoming movie. He has confirmed that Race 4 will go on floors in January 2025. ## Shiraz also confirmed that Sidharth Malhotra's casting is locked with Saif Ali Khan and the rest of the cast will be revealed by the producers Tips Films at the right time in a proper announcement. Meanwhile, the makers have gone back into the world of the first 2 Race movies to set up the next instalment. ## Writer Ahmed said that Race 4 will follow the events of Race 1 and Race 2 with some of the same characters along with new members. The makers will skip Salman Khan-fronted Race 3 which was set up in a different world from the first two movies. ## Produced by Tips Films, the first two films in the Race franchise were directed by the duo Abbas-Mustan.
