Mumbai, August 19 - The 67th Filmfare Awards returns to honor the best films and artists of the Hindi film industry for the year 2021. For 66 years, the Filmfare Awards have been the benchmark for excellence in Indian cinema. The Filmfare 2022 award ceremony of the 67th edition in association with Wolf777 will take place on August 30 at the Jio World Convention Centre in BKC, Mumbai. ## The nominations for this year's Filmfare awards were announced on August 18. Shershaah Director Vishnuvardhan Finds Similarities Between Kiara Advani And Nayanthara

Mumbai, August 6, 2021: Actress Kiara Advani is really becoming a director's favorite. The Kabir Singh actress will be next seen in "Shershaah", opposite Sidharth Malhotra. The movie is directed by Vishnuvardhan who mainly works in Tamil cinema. Shershaah is his maiden Hindi film as a director. ## Coming with a background of directing films in Tamil and Telugu, Vishnuvardhan shared his experience of working with Kiara Advani in Shershaah, where he finds Kiara one of the smartest and most intelligent actors he has met. ## "When you get the right cast, 50 percent of your battle is won. The rest of the 50 percent is how they're going to perform and Kiara is one of the smartest and most intelligent actors I have actually met, which is very good", the director said. ## Kiara is playing the role of Dimple Cheema, the fiancé of Kargil's hero, Vikram Batra. Meanwhile, Kiara has impressed Vishnuvardhan so much with her ability to learn something quickly that made the director compare her with Nayanthara. Nayanthara is regarded as one of the most talented actresses with whom, Vishnuvardhan has worked in Tamil films 'Billa' and 'Arrambam'. ## "The last I had met someone like that was Nayanthara and seeing Kiara today, well, it was a pleasure working with her. When I had worked with Nayan, she used to be so sharp and so intelligent and I felt that similar way when working with Kiara. She's so smart and so sharp. All you need to do is just give them a hint and tell them what it is and they catch it so fast", he added.## Shershaah is a biographical war film directed by Vishnuvardhan and co-produced by Karan Johar. Based on the Kargil war, the movie traces the life journey of Param Vir Chakra awardee and army captain Vikram Batra. It also explores the untold stories of the unsung heroes of the war who leid their lives to safeguard the nation. ## The movie stars Sidharth Malhotra in a double role, as Batra and his identical twin brother Vishal while Kiara Advani plays the role of Dimple Cheema along with Shiv Pandit, Nikitin Dheer, Sahil Vaid, Anil Charanjeett, Raj Arjun, among others in supporting roles.
