Having gone through more downs than ups in the last two years, the cinema biz was in dire need to make a strong comeback, and that comeback seems to be around the corner with blockbuster titles lined up to release during the entire summer of 2022. ## In one of our previous articles, we stated how the last week of February 2022 has become intense with blockbuster titles, but the fact is, its following month is looking even more promising in which a few of the top Indian stars will come together to light up the big screen. ## The big-screen entertainment in March will kick-start with legendary Amitabh Bachchan's biographical sports film "Jhund", which is slated for March 4, release. Ready since 2020, this Nagraj Manjule-directed is finally seeing the light of the day. The movie is based on the life of Vijay Barse (Big B), the founder of NGO Slum Soccer, and it also stars "Sairat" duo Akash Thosar, and Rinku Rajguru in prominent roles. ## "Jhund" is to be followed by the Suriya-starrer Tamil movie "Etharkkum Thunindhavan", which will be released on March 10 in multiple languages. This Pandiraj-directed will be Suriya's first theatrical release after two back-to-back OTT releases in the form of "Soorarai Pottru", and "Jai Bhim". The expectation will be high from the actor's big-screen comeback movie as he is one of the top stars of Tamil cinema. "ET" is produced by Sun Pictures and it stars Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female lead. ## A day after the "ET" release, one of the most anticipated and long-awaited Pan Indian biggie, "Radhe Shyam", starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde will debut in theaters. The period romantic drama film, directed by Radha Krishan Kumar, was supposed to release on January 14 but the 3rd covid-19 wave forced its postponement to March 11. It is expected to take a thundering opening at the box office, especially in Telugu. The budget of the movie is around Rs. 200 crores and the makers are confident that the movie will justify its large scale and will bring the audiences to theaters in large numbers. ## As far as the Hindi box office is concerned, the onus will again be on Akshay Kumar to glorify its magic as his "Bachchan Pandey" will be released on the occasion of Holi on March 18. This Farhad Samji-directed has everything, be it action, comedy, or romance, the audience could have asked for, and thus, there is a positive vibe among the trade and makers that it won't disappoint and will become the box office monster. It is said that Ram Charan might accept the offer as it will mark his debut in the digital space. Hyderabad, January 27 - Telugu movie "Good Luck Sakhi", starring Keerthy Suresh in the lead role, is finally releasing this Friday (Jan. 28) in theaters after multiple postponements. The makers of this sports drama held a pre-release event on Jan. 26, which was attended by Ram Charan as chief guest. ## Ram Charan spoke highly about the film and Keerthy Suresh at the event. He stated that "Good Luck Sakhi" is not just a normal sports drama film but a proper big-ticket movie that is being made by the national award winners.## The "Rangasthalam" actor heaped praise on Keerthy Suresh, who won the National Film Award for Best Actress for Mahanati (2018). Ram Charan mentioned that Keerthy has done a great job, as she has put extra effort into the Rayalaseema's Chittoor dialect in "Good Luck Sakhi". Mumbai, January 23 - The covid-19 third wave has once again left the Indian film industry with nothing but to reshuffle the release dates of theatrical films. ## Filmmaker SS Rajamouli has booked two slots for the release of "RRR". The mega-budgeted, which was supposed to release on January 7, will now release either on March 18 or April 29, depending upon the covid-19 scenario in the country. It will, however, have to face stiff competition with Bollywood biggies, "Bachchan Pandey" (March 18) and "Runway 34" (April 29) on both occasions. ## Meanwhile, one of the Pan-India tentpole movies postponed from Sankranthi 2022 is Prabhas' romantic drama "Radhe Shyam". It was to release on January 14, and now, according to reports, it will come either Holi or Eid this year. ## According to industry sources (via Bollywood Hungama), the "Radhe Shyam" release date is depending on "RRR". If "RRR" comes on Holi, then Prabhas-starrer will have a grand release on April 29. On the reverse scenario, "Radhe Shyam" will be released on March 18 or March 25. It has more chances of coming on March 25, to avoid a direct clash with "Bachchan Pandey". ## "Radhe Shyam" is directed by Radhe Krishan Kumar and the plot of the film is set in the Europe of the 1970s. It also stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead opposite Prabhas.
