Mumbai, April 12 - Director Nitesh Tiwari's epic Ramayana is shaping up to be a global phenomenon with every development around it. In India, the film is already a hot topic with its casting along with Kannada superstar Yash coming on board to co-produce and starring in it. ## Producer Namit Malhotra of Prime Focus is working day and night to make Ramayana a global force and according to the latest report by Pinkvilla, the filmmaker is in talks with Hollywood studio Warner Bros. Pictures to take the movie to worldwide audiences. ## "The deal (with Warner Bros.) is being negotiated not just to get monetary support for the project but also to ensure collaboration with the right partners on the distribution and marketing front in international markets up to the film’s release. The plans out in the market are just the tip of the iceberg, as Ramayana is a 100% made-in-India film of an Indian Story aiming at Global Domination", says the report. ## Ramayana is uncountably the most ambitious Indian film in the making and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to achieve the most satisfying outcome of it. Yash Officially Joins 'Ramayana' As Co-Producer And Actor

Mumbai, April 12 - Kannada superstar and producer, Yash has officially joined director Nitesh Tiwari's epic Ramayana. The actor-filmmaker's Monster Mind Creations will co-produce with Namit Malhotra's Prime Focus Studios to bring this epic to global audiences. ## The upcoming adaptation of Ramayana is touted to be a dream project, not just for the talent involved but for Indian cinema overall. Apart from co-producing the film, which will be turned into a trilogy, Yash is also playing one of the main roles. ## Yash said in a statement (via Variety), "It has been my long-term aspiration to make films that will showcase Indian cinema on a global level. In pursuit of that, I was in L.A. to ally with one of the best VFX studios, and to my amazement, the driving force behind it was a fellow Indian. Namit and I had various ideation sessions, and coincidentally, our synergy on the vision for Indian cinema aligned perfectly".## "We brainstormed various projects, and during these discussions, the subject of ‘Ramayana’ came up. Ranbir Kapoor's 'Ramayana' Shooting Details Revealed

Mumbai, February 4 - The countdown begins for the shoot commencement of Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor-led epic Ramayana, potentially the biggest Indian film in the making. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the three-part film features Kapoor in the role of Lord Ram alongside Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Raavan, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman, among others. ## The pre-production work on Ramayana has been going on for a long time and now, the makers are set to take the movie on floors in March this year. According to a report by TOI, the first schedule of the film will take in Mumbai for around 60 days in which Ranbir and Sai Pallavi will be shooting for their portions. ## After the Mumbai schedule, the team will head to London for another around 60 days of filming. Superstar Yash will join Ranbir in the London schedule, however, the former will shoot for around 15-20 days as he will have an extended appearance as Lankesh in the first part of Ramayana. ## The second and third parts of Ramayana will mainly focus on Yash's Raavan and Sunny Deol's Hanuman along with Ranbir and Pallavi. Meanwhile, it is said that Ranbir has willingly renounced alcohol and non-vegetarian food as his intention is to feel as pure as lord Ram in this epic saga. ## Apart from the aforementioned actors, the makers have roped in Lara Dutta to play the role of Kaikeyi while the talks are in an advanced stage with Vijay Sethupathi to play Vibhishana. Mumbai, December 13 - Ranbir Kapoor is on cloud nine after the mega-blockbuster success of his action drama Animal which has crossed 750 crores at the worldwide box office in just 12 days. It has become his highest-grossing film and put him in the elite league of superstars. ## The "Brahmastra" star has now reportedly confirmed his next film and the preparations for the same are said to have begun. It is known to everyone that Ranbir has been in talks with director Nitesh Tiwari to headline epic Ramayana but there was no official confirmation from the makers yet until yesterday when the actor himself reportedly confirmed the development. ## According to a claim made by an X/Twitter user, the Bollywood star has confirmed Ramayana as his next film. Ranbir will be playing the role of lord Ram while Telugu actress Sai Pallavi is roped in for the role of Sita. Kannada superstar Yash to play Raavan in this mega-budgeted epic.## The film is planned as a trilogy and the first film will go on floors by March next year with Ranbir and Sai Pallavi, according to Pinkvilla. Yash will reportedly join the shoot by July. The movie was supposed to be headlined by Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi as Ram and Sita. ## The movie has been in pre-production for a long time but as per the reports, the project has been put on the backburner for the time being. While the makers haven't made anything official yet, it is said that they were unable to lock in the actor to play the role of Raavan. ## Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan was earlier reportedly approached to play Raavan and he showed interest in it as well but since the movie was not moving forward, the actor backed out in order to focus on other commitments. ## The project, backed by Madhu Mantena and Namit Malhotra, was supposed to be made on a huge budget and was to start shooting this year. Director Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana' To Start Filming In The Second Half of 2023

Mumbai, December 9 - Director Nitesh Tiwari's live-action epic Ramayana, which was announced many moons back, has been the talk of the town over the last few years. The planned trilogy has been in the pre-production work for a long time and makers are taking enough time in the research work, thus the filming is getting delayed. ## The pre-production work of "Ramayana" has moved rapidly over the last few months and the makers are making sure it goes on floors sooner than later. Madhu Mantena, who has produced films like Udta Punjab, Ghajini, and Super 30, is one of the producers of this magnum opus along with Allu Arvind and Namit Malhotra. ## During a recent interview with Pinkvilla (via TOI), Madhu Mantena revealed that the script of the film will be completed in the next couple of months after detailed research and groundwork on the screenplay and story over the past few years, and if all goes as per plan, the filming will start from September 2023. ## "After intense research and groundwork for the last few years on the screenplay and story, the script will be ready in a couple of months. The story needs that amount of research and effort.
