Los Angeles, September 28 - Tom Hardy-led superhero movie Venom: The Last Dance is gearing up for the release on October 25 as the last film of the Venom franchise. The movie is directed by Kelly Marcel and is a part of Sony's Spider-Man universe. ## With under a month to go before the release, Venom: The Last Dance is tracking to be the biggest opener in the franchise. According to the projection by Box Office Pro, Venom 3 is headed towards taking the opening of $80 million - $120 million at the domestic opening weekend. ## The first two films of this anti-hero franchise opened with approximately $10 million apart - $80.20 million for 2018's Venom and $90 million for 2021's Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Venom 3, as per the early projections, is in the position to take the biggest start of the franchise and it can do it with a fair margin. ## Both, Venom and Venom - Let There Be Carnage finished their domestic run with an almost identical total of $213.51 million and $213.55 million, respectively. Here, Box Office Pro has projected a $250 million - $300 million range lifetime domestic gross collection. ## It is worth noting that Venom 2 was released during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic so there was a possibility it could have done much better in a normal scenario. Mumbai, September 26 - Tom Hardy is the set for the Last Dance with his blockbuster anti-hero franchise Venom. The third and final film, titled Venom: The Last Dance is gearing up for the big screen debut on October 25 this year. ## As the movie is gearing up for release, the official runtime for the same has reportedly been revealed. According to the latest reports, the movie is set to be a nearly 2 hours long flick with a final runtime of around 1 hour and 50 minutes (110 minutes). ## Recently, two different theatre chains listed conflicting runtimes for Sony Pictures' upcoming blockbuster. As per The Direct, Odeon listed the threequel on its website with a 140-minute runtime (2 hours, 20 minutes) while Cineworld listed it with a runtime of 120 minutes (2 hours). ## However, it is believed that the final runtime of Venom 3 will be changed as the latest reports suggest. Box Office: 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' Stands Rock Solid On First Friday

Mumbai, December 17 - Tom Holland's "Spider-Man: No Way Home" has had the second-biggest opening in India during the covid-19 pandemic era, netted a massive Rs. 32.67 crores ($4.30M) on Thursday (December 16). Despite being a working day, the superhero movie was all over from East to West, North to South, registering the biggest ever day 1 for Sony Pictures in India. ## The Jon Watts-directed released against no significant challenge at the box office. With the release of Allu Arjun's keenly awaited "Pushpa - The Rise" on Friday, "No Way Home" faced tough competition, especially in the South. However, despite the "Pushpa - The Rise" juggernaut, the Marvel/Sony/Columbia movie remained rock solid on the first Friday, grossing an estimated Rs. 20.50 crores ($2.70M), for a 2-day estimated total of Rs. 53.17 crore ($8.88M). ## The 3rd and last film in MCU's Home Coming trilogy, "No Way Home" is heading towards a legendary 4-day opening weekend total of Rs. 110 crores ($14.46M) gross. That will put "Spider-Man: No Way Home" to the first positive in India during the pandemic, and is likely to remain on that positive by the end of 2021. ## Meanwhile, at the global box office, "No Way Home" is equally strong. In India, the superhero movie has been poised to take the biggest start during the covid-19 pandemic, and it is currently tracing to earn over Rs. 35 crores on an opening day, Thursday, December 16.## The Marvel/Sony/Colombia film released over 3264 screens in India across 4 languages. It is the widest ever release for a Hollywood movie in the country, surpassing Marvel Studios' own film "Avengers: Endgame" (2019), which was released on 2845 screens.
