Saraya Makes A Playful Splash In Phoenix Before AEW Dynamite

While in Phoenix for tonight's AEW Dynamite at the Footprint Center, Saraya, who joined AEW in 2022 following her retirement due to spinal stenosis, took a break from the squared circle to have some lighthearted fun on Tuesday night. ## In 2023, Saraya had her first shot at AEW gold during a thrilling triple threat match against Ruby Soho and then-champion Jamie Hayter at Revolution, but ultimately fell short. However, she later found redemption by capturing the Women's Title at All In. ## Her most recent in-ring action came on the January 10th episode of Dynamite, where she teamed with The Outcasts (Ruby Soho & Skye Blue) and Julia Hart, but their alliance fell to Anna Jay, Kris Statlander, Thunder Rosa, and Willow Nightingale.## However, Tuesday night belonged to playful antics. Saraya attended the Suns vs. Milwaukee Bucks game, where she unexpectedly got into a playful tussle with the Suns mascot. In a hilarious display, she delivered a mock suplex onto a crash pad, but the mascot, clearly enjoying the moment, sprung right back up with laughter. To cap off the fun exchange, they even snapped a photo together. ## #AEW's @Saraya and @JustinRoberts are guests of the Phoenix @Suns at tonight's game ahead of TOMORROW's LIVE #AEWDynamite from the @FootprintCNTR!The action starts locally at 5:30pm MT, Get your tickets NOW!Wednesday Night Dynamite airs LIVE on TBS @ 8/7c with an overrun! pic.twitter.com/hklIiP2sur— All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) February 7, 2024 ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

Saraya (Paige) On Her Private Videos Going Public: 'That Was Like My Lowest, Lowest Point'

New York, 13 November - Saraya, formerly known as Paige in WWE, may currently be experiencing one of the best phases of her life. However, back in 2017, she faced the darkest days of her life when private videos of her were leaked online. ## This incident led her to reveal that she suffered from "stress-induced anorexia" and even contemplated suicide. Fortunately, the story took a positive turn, and now she is thriving as one of the AEW stars.## Saraya has openly discussed this challenging period on multiple occasions, including in a recent interview on The Cruz Show Podcast. In this latest interview, she shared insights into the difficult time when her private videos were leaked online, emphasizing how it marked the lowest point in her life. ## “It was about 6 or 7 years ago, and I had the tapes come out. Like I had this revenge porn put out on me and, I was addicted to coke and pills and I drank a lot.” ## Saraya elaborated that she was at her absolute lowest during that period, and it was an exceedingly challenging time for her. ## “So that was like my lowest, lowest point and I felt like I couldn’t go out in public and everyone was making fun of me and roasting me, I was surrounded by people that weren’t good for me, weren’t healthy, wasn’t in the best relationship at the time, didn’t have the group of friends that I have now and so it was really, really rough.” ## After a complete absence of 7 years from wrestling, she eventually made her debut in AEW at Grand Slam in Queens, New York, and has since secured victory in the AEW Women's World Championship. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

Saraya: 'I Always Wanted To Be A Heel, Even Before AEW Knew I Was Gonna Be Wrestling Again'

Norwich, 20 September - Saraya faced a tough road back to the wrestling ring after a career-threatening injury forced her to retire at just 25 years old in 2018. ## However, after a lengthy absence, Saraya made her return to the wrestling world in September 2022 when she signed with AEW and had her debut at Grand Slam. Since then, she has solidified her position as one of the top stars in the company. ## Saraya's comeback story took an exciting turn when she captured her first championship in nearly nine years. She defeated AEW Women's World Champion Hikaru Shida, Baker, and Toni Storm in a four-way match at All In. ## In an interview with Metro.co.uk, Saraya revealed that her debut in AEW was always intended to position her as a villain, even before AEW knew she would be returning to the ring. ## “I always wanted to be a heel, even before AEW knew I was gonna be wrestling again. I always wanted to be a bad guy. Because I already knew it wasn’t going to be long until they turned on me. I knew that. I said that – having conversations before I came to AEW, I was speaking to Jon Moxley, I was speaking to [Chris] Jericho, I was speaking to Tony Khan.” ## “They were all telling me, ‘You’re gonna be a babyface first because people are just gonna be happy to see you.’ It was really frustrating. What I kept doing is I kept throwing in heelish things in promos or how I acted, things like that. I wanted that slow burn anyway and then eventually I was gonna get the opportunity to turn heel, I just had to wait a little bit. It worked out!” ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...
