Kartik Aaryan, Sreeleela's Musical Love Story With Director Anurag Basu Locks Christmas 2025 Release

Mumbai, August 14 - One of the most-anticipated romantic films of the year, starring Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela in the leading roles, has locked its release date. The untitled film is directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series. ## According to the latest report by Bollywood Hungama, the musical love story will be hitting worldwide theatres on December 25, 2025, on the occasion of Christmas. With this, it has confirmed a clash with Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh's spy action thriller Alpha, which is slated to release on the same day. ## While the plot details of the movie are kept under wraps, the report hints at a narrative that combines strong drama with Anurag Basu's signature blend of whimsy and human connection. Additional Runtime For The Post-Credit Scene of Hrithik Roshan, Jr. NTR's War 2? Cameo Details Revealed

Mumbai, August 8 - Yash Raj Films' spy action thriller War 2 is set to be the longest film in the Spy Universe with the theatrical runtime of 2 hours and 53 minutes, beating Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai (2 hours and 42 minutes). However, there might be an additional runtime for the upcoming blockbuster. ## According to the report by Mid-Day, the Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR-starrer was originally censored by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) on August 6, with an approved runtime of 183 minutes. However, YRF has submitted for re-conser with a new runtime of 173 minutes. ## The shorter theatrical cut is now reportedly much more aligned with the makers' original vision. It is said that the team didn't want to compromise on the pace of the Ayan Mukerji-directed film, especially in the second half. To deliver a tighter, more gripping film, it was reportedly decided by the team that they would edit the film further and resubmit. ## Meanwhile, there have been blockbuster reports about the War 2's post-credit scene. It has been confirmed that Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh from YRF's next spy universe film, Alpha, will feature in the post-credit scene. However, rumours are rife that Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan and Salman Khan's Tiger will also appear in the end credits, but it hasn't been confirmed by reliable sources. ## Mid-Day, however, reports that the makers will submit the post-credit scene separately for certification this week, so the final runtime of the movie is expected to exceed 3 hours, hinting at how crucial this bonus scene might be. Varun Dhawan And Sharvari Wagh To Headline Maddock Films' 'Luka Chuppi 2'

Mumbai, May 23 - Producer Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films is turning 2019's hit rom-com Luka Chuppi into a franchise and has put its sequel under development with a new leading cast, replacing Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon from the original movie. ## According to the report by Peepingmoon.com, Maddock has roped in Varun Dhawan and Sharvari Wagh to headline Luka Chuppi 2. Both actors have reportedly given their preliminary approval and are expected to formally sign on once the script is finalised in the coming months. ## The report further said that the sequel will be different from the original movie, with a supernatural twist in its comedic narrative. It will retain the humorous tone but will have an entirely different storyline from the first movie, which was centred on a couple navigating a live-in relationship complicated by the arrival of their traditional families. ## While the director's name is not revealed yet, Luka Chuppi 2 will reportedly be directed by one of the associates of Laxman Utekar who directed the first film. Mumbai, February 25 - After going through a dry period of nearly 5 years, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan made a roaring comeback with Yash Raj Films' spy action thriller Pathaan in 2023. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film emerged as a massive blockbuster, grossing over 1000 crores at the worldwide box office. ## Pathaan is a part of YRF's Spy Universe and its mega-success almost confirmed the sequel. A few months after the movie's release in January 2023, it was reported that producer Aditya Chopra was working on the script of Pathaan 2. Now, a new update has emerged regarding the same. ## According to the report by Peepingmoon.com, Aditya Chopra has locked the script of the sequel which is designed not only to carry forward Pathaan's story but also to lay the groundwork for larger conflicts in upcoming instalments of YRF's Spy Universe. It was due to the extensive planning and intricate storytelling that the scripting process took so long.## The script, written by Sridhar Raghavan and Abbas Tyrewala with Chopra, promises to surpass the first film in both scale and intensity. Aditya has also taken inputs from SRK for the Pathaan 2 script and the superstar is said to be super impressed with the way the sequel is heading. ## The director for the same is not locked yet. Reports suggest that Anand would not return to direct the sequel. John Abraham's 'Vedaa' Censor Certificate and Theatrical Runtime Revealed

Mumbai, August 9 - Bollywood star John Abraham and actress Sharvari Wagh are gearing up for the release of their action drama Vedaa which reunites John with director Nikkhil Advani after Batla House. It is produced by Zee Studios, Emmay Entertainment, and JA Entertainment. ## Vedaa, which is said to be inspired by true events, is a story of bravery, of the power of one. It is the story of an uprising, of challenging a draconian system. It is the story of a young woman who fought back, steered and championed by the one. ## The film is scheduled to be released on August 15. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has passed the movie with a 'U/A' certificate without any major cut and the approved theatrical runtime of 2 hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes).## As reported previously, the CBFC team was impressed and could relate to what the makers are trying to address through the film which deals with an important issue. However, the censor board team reportedly advised the makers to put a disclaimer at the beginning to avoid any confusion.## The movie stars John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh in the leading roles alongside Abhishek Banerjee, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Ashish Vidyarthi in key roles.
