Ram Charan's Box Office Disaster Film 'Orange' Does Very Well After Re-Release
Hyderabad, April 11 - Telugu superstar Ram Charan's romantic-comedy Orange (2010) has done very well upon its limited re-release. Directed by Bhaskar, Orange was a disaster in its original run, however, it later gained a cult status and has been people's favorite. ## It was recently re-released on limited screens on the occasion of Ram Charan's birthday, and thanks to the immense popularity it gained over the years, Orange did really well as it grossed approx. 3.50 crores. In Telugu states, it grossed approx. 3.15 crores and turned successful. ## Orange re-release took the opening of approx. 1.40 crores worldwide and remains steady over the week to post good numbers for an occasional release. The earning of the movie will go to charity work. ## Produced by Geetha Arts, the movie stars Ram Charan, Genelia D'Souza, and Shazahn Padamsee, while Prabhu and Prakash Raj play supporting roles. Despite the failure in the first place, it gained popularity on satellite and even critics admit it's a film that's ahead of its time. ## Meanwhile, Ram Charan is currently shooting for director Shankar's political action thriller "Game Changer", co-starring Kiara Advani.
