A Sequel To Ajay Devgn's Superhit Film 'Son of Sardaar' Is In The Development
Mumbai, April 10 - Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn, in August 2017, confirmed that he would be working on the sequel of his superhit film "Son of Sardaar", but said that it would take some time to start rolling. Later in 2019, director Ashwni Dhir confirmed that there were working on a comedy film, but again, the movie couldn't go on floors due to some reasons, and then the covid thing happened. ## And now, with things easing up and life returning to normal, the filmmakers are setting up new ventures all over again. It is said that Ajay Devgn has decided to go ahead with the second part of "Son of Sardaar", pulse, he is looking to make it a blockbuster franchise. ## Senior writer Robin Bhatt who helmed the writing and screenplay of the first part has confirmed the development of "SOS 2" and the modalities are fast being worked out. The script work is still in the early stage and might take some time before getting ready to roll out the project. ## Meanwhile, according to ETimes, despite Robin Bhatt confirming the above story, Ajay Devgn's production house, Ajay Devgn Films has denied an immediate plan or discussion on making "Son of Sardaar 2". The actor is currently busy with the promotional activities for "Runway 34", which is scheduled to release on April 29. ## Ajay, after the release of "Runway 34", will resume shooting of "Drishyam 2", and also begin "Bholaa", which is the remake of Tamil hit "Kaithi".
