Mumbai, June 20 - Kartik Aaryan-fronted Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is turning out to be one of the biggest post-pandemic Indian blockbusters at the box office. The horror-comedy flick is showing no sign of slowing out despite being in its 5th week. ## The Anees Bazmee-directed, also starring Kiara Advani and Tabu, scored an excellent Rs. 5.68 crores net in its 5th weekend, pushing total net collection to Rs. 181.82 crores. The weekend-to-weekend drop is just 29% which is phenomenal, post-pandemic where most of the Bollywood movies are not being able to survive for more than two weeks.## The excellent 5th-week collection of BB2 makes it the second biggest during the covid-19, behind only Yash-fronted monster blockbuster, KGF Chapter 2. It beat SS Rajamouli's blockbuster RRR (Rs. 3.32 Cr) and Vivek Agnihotri's all-time blockbuster, The Kashmir Files (Rs. 2.50 Cr). ## Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, at the end of its 5th weekend, has grossed over 262 crores worldwide, including approx. 49 crores at the overseas box office. Mumbai, June 3 - Director Anees Bazmee's "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2" is breathing fire and putting super strong legs at the box office. The movie scored an excellent second week at the domestic box office, minting Rs. 49.7 crores net. This takes the total net collection of "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2" to Rs. 141.75 crores net in just two weeks. ## Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani, "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2" has grossed approx. 35 crores at the overseas box office. It has also become Kartik Aaryan's first 200 crores worldwide grosser after it scored Rs. 202 crores through the second Thursday. The movie beat "Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety" (Rs. 156.46cr) to become the biggest hit of Kartik's career. ## "Bhool Bhulaiya 2" is the sequel to 2006's classic hit starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan in the leading roles. The movie was anticipated to do justice to the original movie and it has perfectly played that part by delivering big at the box office. BB2 is only the second 200 crores scorer Bollywood movie of 2022, after "The Kashmir Files". ## Among the all-time highest-grossing Hindi movie at the domestic box office, the horror-comedy currently stands at number 49, ahead of "Dream Girl". Directed by Anees Bazmee, the movie is the sequel to one of the best horror-comedy movies ever made in Bollywood - Bhool Bhulaiyaa which was released in 2007 and featured Akshay Kumar. ## "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2", which also stars Kiara Advani, Tabu, and Rajpal Yadav in key roles, has created a decent amount of buzz. The advance booking, which was opened a couple of days ago, is among the best for this year and have already crossed 4 crores. As compared to the likes of "Gangubai Kathiawadi" and "Bachchhan Paadney", BB2 is expected to take the double-digit opening at the box office. Mumbai, April 30 - Ajay Devgn, and Tabu-fronted "Drishyam 2" has a new addition in the form of Akshaye Khanna. "Drishyam 2" is the Hindi remake of the Mohanlal-starrer 2021 Malayalam movie of the same name, and it also features Shriya Saran and Ishita Dutta in key roles. ## The story of "Drishyam 2" takes place six years after the events of Drishyam (2015). The original movie chronicled the story of a family of four whose lives turned upside down following an unfortunate incident with their older daughter. ## Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the sequel will see Ajay Devgn reprising his role as Vijay Salgoankar. Tabu, who started filming for the movie earlier this week, will return as Meera Deshmukh, Inspector General of Police, Goa. Mumbai, March 29 - Ajay Devgn-starrer thriller film, "Drishyam" is all set to release in China, which is the biggest movie market in the world. The critically and commercially successful movie is the remake of the 2013 Malayalam-language film of the same name starring superstar Mohanlal. ## Directed by late director Nishikant Kamat, "Drishyam" will be released in China on April 15, 2022. In the past, Indian movies have done wonders at the Chinese box office and minted crores. Aamir Khan's "Dangal" is the highest-grossing Indian title in China with 1305 crores gross ($ 203M). ## "Drishyam" has been one of the most loved thriller movies in Bollywood cinema. It grossed 110 crores worldwide in a budget of approx. 48 crores and was declared hit at the box office. Mumbai, February 17 - Ajay Devgn returns as Vijay Salgaonkar in the sequel of the 2015 hit "Drishyam". Ajay along with leading lady Shriya Saran as Nandini Salgaonkar has finally commenced the filming of "Drishyam 2" in Mumbai, under the direction of Abhishek Pathak. ## The thriller-drama film, which is the official remake of Mohanlal-starrer Malayalam movie of the same name, "Drisham 2" has kicked off shooting in Mumbai will be extensively shot in Goa in the following months. Chennai, January 28 - The fans of Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar have been waiting for the release of "Valimai" for a long time. The movie was all set to release on Pongal 2022 but due to the 3rd covid-19 wave, makers postponed the release. It will now release at February end or in March this year. ## Meanwhile, Thala Ajith is readying to kickstart the shoot of his next film, in which he will be reuniting with "Valimai" director and producer duo of H Vinoth and Boney Kapoor.
