Mumbai, May 14 - National-award-winning Bollywood star Tabu is going to Hollywood once again as the actress has been roped in for HBO Max's Dune Prophecy, a prequel series to Denis Villeneuve's big screen adaptation Dune (2021). ## According to Variety, Tabu will be playing the role of Sister Francesca. The character is described as "Strong, intelligent, and alluring, Sister Francesca leaves a lasting impression in her wake. Once a great love of the Emperor, her return to the palace strains the balance of power in the capital".## The series was originally confirmed in 2019, under the title Dune: The Sisterhood. Mumbai, May 10 - The heist comedy Crew starring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon has topped 150 crores gross collection at the worldwide box office, becoming just the third Bollywood movie of the year after Fighter and Shaitaan to achieve the feat. ## Directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, the movie continues to score well in India due to the lack of competition. In its 6th week, Crew scored approximately 2.10 crores net (2.50 crores gross) pushing the total collection to 80.90 crores net (95.50 crores gross) in 42 days. ## Overseas, Crew has grossed an estimated 55 crores for worldwide 150+ crores. The movie will be looking to finish around 155 crores gross which makes it one of the biggest box office successes of the year so far for Bollywood. Starring Tabu, Kriti Sanon, and Kareena Kapoor, the movie is getting benefitted from the lean phase of new movies. ## Directed by Rajesh Krishnan, Crew minted approximately 3 crores net, dropping around 24% in its 5th week. The movie had the strongest hold in the last week in its box office run so far and it is expected to maintain the same trend in the next couple of weeks. ## The total net collection of the film is approximately 78.80 crores while the gross collection is around 93.25 crores in 35 days. Overseas, Crew has grossed an estimated 55 crores, pushing the total worldwide cume to over 148 crores. Mumbai, April 7 - In one of the major surprises of the year, Tabu, Kareena Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon-fronted heist comedy film Crew has topped 100 crores at the worldwide box office and emerged as a hit venture for the makers. ## Directed by Lootcase fame Rajesh A Krishnan, the all-female-led entertainer reached the 100 crore gross globally on its 10th day and becomes the 5th Bollywood film of 2024 to achieve the feat after Fighter, Shaitaan, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and Article 370. ## Crew has grossed approximately 69 crores (including an estimated second Sunday collection) in India and an estimated 36 crores overseas for 105+ crores worldwide gross in 10 days. Mumbai, April 12 - Ajay Devgn-directed and fronted action drama Bholaa has crossed the 100 crores gross at the worldwide box office, becoming the second film of Ajay in a row after Drishyam 2 to reach the milestone. ## An adaptation of the Tamil hit Kaithi, Bholaa reached the 100 crores mark on its 13th day and is continuing with a decent run at the domestic as well as overseas box office despite the mixed reviews and not being a multiplex-friendly flick. ## In India, it has grossed approx. 90 crores (75+ crore net) through 2nd Tuesday. By 3rd Friday, Bholaa will become the highest-grossing Hindi remake (when the original version is available in Hindi) post the covid-19 pandemic, after crossing Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan's Vikram Vedha's 78.9 crores net. ## At the overseas box office, Bholaa has collected approx. 13 crores, pushing the total worldwide cume to approx. 103 crores so far. Mumbai, April 4 - Bholaa heading for a decent first Tuesday as the early estimate collections suggest a 4.50-5 crores net which is similar to the first Monday collections. Today was a partial holiday so the collections could be coming on the higher side as compared to yesterday. ## The first Tuesday collection will take the total collections of the film to over 53 crores net mark. The first seven days of business of the film is heading towards the 57 cr net mark while the extended first-week business of eight days should be around the 61-63 crores net. ## The first week of business is on the average side for Bholaa where he did see some good days while some days were also below average.## The film is still in a race to emerge as a successful film though it needs to hold well on the weekdays. It can emerge as a successful film if it crosses 90-100cr business at the box office. The drop from Friday is around 35% which is on the expected lines.## The first Monday collections will take the total collections of the film to near the 50cr net and not many films have crossed this number post-pandemic. Tomorrow is a partial holiday so the film can collect good collections and then it will be down to Wednesday which will decide the fate of the film.## Bholaa remains on course to emerge as a successful film due to the good hold but it needs to sustain on these levels for the next few days and eventually show growth over the second weekend.
