Bengaluru, July 26 - After scripting box office history with Prashanth Neel's directorial action drama KGF: Chapter 2, superstar Yash will be returning to the big screen with National Award-Winning director, Geetu Mohandas' gangster-based action film Toxic - A Fairy Tale of Grown-Ups. ## The film was announced last year with the official release date of April 10, 2025. The movie commenced its shoot recently, and according to the reports, the makers have locked a solid female cast in the form of Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Shruti Haasan, and Huma Qureshi. ## Now, according to the report by Pinkvilla, Toxic will no longer be released on April 10, 2025, as announced. Mumbai, July 30 - Director Mohit Suri's much-anticipated romantic action thriller film Ek Villain Returns was released on July 29 in theaters and brings a much-needed relief by opening on a good note. ## The film, starring John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani, and Tara Sutaria, opened with 7.05 crores net which is a good number considering how badly Bollywood movies have faired at the box office this year barring a few. While EVR becomes the biggest opener for Abraham post the covid-19 pandemic, it scored the 5th biggest opening for Arjun Kapoor of all time. ## Arjun Kapoor is super thrilled about the film opening on a good note and believes that it will continue its momentum in the days to come. ## "The fact that Ek Villain Returns opening is the fifth biggest of my career, even while the industry tries to bounce back post-pandemic, is extremely validating. Opening Day Box Office Prediction For John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor's 'Ek Villain Returns'

Mumbai, July 28 - Another Friday arrives and there is another big Bollywood film, in the form of "Ek Villain Returns", releasing in theaters. But the biggest question remains to answer, will fortune change this time? or will it meet the same fate as the previous films? It is something that is very difficult to predict in these changing box office dynamics post-pandemic. ## There was a time when Bollywood was the synonym for Blockbuster, however, that time has become a thing of the past as the blockbuster status, nowadays, becomes a blue moon for the industry. Forget about blockbuster or hit or superhit, taking a decent to good opening has become a hard nut to crack for the Hindi film industry despite a lot of promises. ## Talking about the Mohit Suri-directed "Ek Villain Returns", one thing is sure the stakes are not that high in this film as compared to the last Friday's release "Shamshera" of which, the box office result is there for everyone to see. To keep our expectations low is a safe bet nowadays and thus, the opening of 5-6 crores is looking sure shot, but the industry is hoping at least 8 crores starts as spot booking is expected to be good as compared to advance. ## Produced by T-Series and Balaji Motion Pictures, "Ek Villain Returns" is reportedly eyeing a wide release on over 3000 screens across the country. There are at least 20 Hindi remakes currently under the various stages of production, and now, there is one more film reportedly joining the list is Punjabi film "Kala Shah Kala". ## According to reports, actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been roped in to lead the Hindi version of the Punjabi rom-com. The actor is said to have liked the story and has agreed to be a part of the project. The paperwork and other formalities are being finalized at the moment. The shoot of the film will commence in 2022. ## "Kala Shah Kala" is 2019's romantic-comedy film, starring Binnu Dhillon, Sargun Mehta, and Jordan Sandhu in the lead roles. The present would be Ahan Shetty, Tara Sutaria, Sunil Shetty, director Milan Lutharia, Sajid Nadiadwala and Warda Nadiadwala hosted a success party for the film. The event was hosted on December 12 at Sajid Nadiadwala’s house. ## Tadap is a remake of the 2018 Telugu romantic-action drama RX 100.
