Mumbai, June 22 - The final of the World Test Championship between India and Australia has been a massive hit on television as it delivered the all-time highest viewership for a Test match on Star Sports, according to the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC). ## As per BARC (via Adgully.com), 124 million viewers tuned in to watch the live broadcast of ICC WTC Final 2023, the highest ever reach garnered for any test match and 32% higher than the previous ICC WTC Final 2021 between India and New Zealand. ## Not only that, but Star Sports has also clocked an impressive 14.4 billion minutes of watch time for live broadcast, surpassing the billion minutes garnered for the previous edition of ICC WTC Final and any other test match in history.## A Star Sports Spokesperson said, "We are proud to achieve yet another milestone for Cricket viewership with the ICC World Test Championship Final. Team India retained the ICC Test Championship Mace for the third consecutive years after topping the ICC Test Rankings on the cut-off date of 1 April.
