Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan Trailer Set To Be Launched In January 2023

Mumbai, November 29 - Yash Raj Films is gearing up for one of its biggest releases of 2023, Pathaan starring Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the spy action thriller also features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in prominent roles.## Meanwhile, with just two months to the big release, YRF is planning an out-of-the-promotion strategy for the movie. It is said that the makers are not in the mood to reveal much about the plot details of the movie too early, hence, not in hurry to release the trailer anytime soon. ## According to Pinkvilla, the "Pathaan" promotion will kick-start with songs and two of them will be released in the month of December, and the report says that both songs are so incredible that they are potential chartbuster anthems of the year. The theatrical trailer will be released in January 2023, probably three weeks before the movie arrives on January 25 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.## The movie is part of YRF's spy universe and it will have a cameo of Salman Khan's Tiger. Box Office: Drishyam 2 Second Monday Early Estimates

Mumbai, November 28 - Drishyam 2 continues its top form even on the second Monday of its box office run after excellent first 10 days. On its second Monday, the movie scored an estimated 6 crores net. This is an excellent second Monday collection for a film that already had collected around 144cr net box office mark.## The second Monday collections will take the entire box office collections of Drishyam2 to approx 150cr net box office mark depending on the actual second Monday collections though even if it misses it will be a few lakhs only. The road for 200cr net grosser is set from here on even if the film sees a 10% drop every day. ## There is not much competition until Avatar which arrives in the middle of December through Drishyam2 will collect even after the arrival of Avatar. The film has also cruised past the 200cr worldwide gross and the final target should be going above the 300cr mark. Box Office: Bhediya First Monday Early Estimates

Mumbai, November 28 - Bhediya underperformed in the first weekend and has a decent hold on the first crucial Monday of its box office run as the early estimate collections suggest 4 crores net. The hold could have been good if the collections were in the range of 6 to 6.50cr net box office mark.## The first Monday collections will take the entire collections of Bhediya to a little over the 32.50cr net box office mark. The fact that the first Monday collections of Bhediya are lower than the second Monday collections of Drishyam 2 suggests the difference between their appreciation at the box office.## The collections of Bhediya at best can be called decent as the film was coming with high expectations and when you look at it from that point of view then the film has failed to live up to the mark. The film will enjoy a healthy little run at the box office due to no competition. The minimum target should be reaching a 60cr lifetime total and even if the film manages to reach that number it will be a below-average performer at the box office though in today's time anything better than a flop is better. Varun Dhawan's filmography has been filled with many successful films without any outright big flops except Kalank. But big stars are judged on big hits whereas Varun Dhawan lacks big time. Mumbai, November 28 - Ajay Devgn-fronted suspense thriller Drishyam 2 has breathed a new life into the ailing Bollywood film industry and emerged as a huge blockbuster. ## The Abhishek Pathak-directed movie has raced past the 200 crores gross at the worldwide box office in just 10 days, becoming only the 5th Bollywood movie of 2022 and 6th after the covid-19 pandemic to achieve the feat. The sequel is on track to finish over 300 crores in its lifetime run.## Produced by Panorama Studios, Viacom18, and T-Series, "Drishyam 2" is a remake of Mohanlal's Malayalam blockbuster of the same name and a sequel to Ajay's 2015 movie, which itself was a huge hit. Box Office: Bhediya First Sunday Early Estimates

Mumbai, November 27 - Varun Dhawan starrer "Bhediya" opened to an average response on day one though the film had a good growth of nearly 30% on the second day and the expectations were that the film will have a big day on Sunday which just not happened. The creature comedy is witnessing a jump of around 15% on Sunday.## The early estimate collections suggest around 11 crores net. The first Sunday collections will take the entire collections of Bhediya to a little over the 28cr net box office mark and the film will struggle to collect well after the first weekend due to mixed reactions. ## There is no doubt the film has been affected by the Drishyam2 wave as that film remains the number one choice for moviegoers even outside Mumbai, Gujarat, and Maharashtra belts where Bhediya appeals more than Drishyam2. It has seen good growth today as the early estimate collections suggest a 16.50-17 crores net collection which will be more than the opening day collections of many huge films released in the last 6 to 8 months. ## The huge second Sunday collections will take the entire box office collections to approx 143.50cr net mark. Prabhas, Kriti Sanon's Magnum Opus 'Adipurush' To Be Delayed To 2024?

Mumbai, November 26 - A lot has changed since the release of the teaser of Prabhas-fronted Adipurush and it looks like there is a lot yet to change. The teaser, which was launched in early October, got mixed to negative responses which forced the makers to take a step back and re-work the quality of the movie. ## It was recently revealed that the movie would not able to meet its original release date of January 12, 2023, and would be delayed, which the makers officially confirmed and announced June 16, 2023, release. However, as per the latest reports, "Adipurush" will be further delayed as the makers are re-working on the entire VFX shots. ## It is said that the budget of "Adipurush" will be increased by approx. 100 crores and the release might get delayed to Sankranthi 2024. It was supposed to be Prabhas' next release, but now, it seems his action thriller "Salaar" with director Prashanth Neel will be hitting theaters first. ## "Salaar", produced by Hombale Films, was announced for September 28, 2023, release and it is very much on track to meet the date without any issues. There is, however, not yet confirmed whether "Adipurush" would actually be delayed or not as there are no official words from people associated with this magnum opus. ## Prabhas, meanwhile, has his hands full of blockbuster titles. Box Office: Bhediya Opening Day/First Friday Early Estimates

Mumbai, November 25 - The big release of this week "Bhediya" starring Varun Dhawan has been released in theaters today. The film has seen a big release on approx more than 2500 screens though some Varun Dhawan starters had gone higher in screens compared to Bhediya. The morning start of the film was low and that proved to be a killer for the film. After the dull morning start, the film did see some walk-ins in subsequent screenings but it couldn't pick as the early estimates suggest around 7.50 crores net (final numbers may vary). The opening-day collections are decent but it would have been nice had it clicked a double-digit start. ## "Bhediya" had good hype and the response to the trailer was good too but it seems the film gets affected by the "Drishyam 2" wave and becomes the second choice for moviegoers. The critics' reviews are positive while the audience's word of mouth to mixed to positive.## Bhediya has to show big growth tomorrow and on Sunday to register healthy first-weekend numbers and a 30 crores weekend should be the bare minimum target for the film. The opening of the film is better than most big films considering the clash factor with an established film. Mumbai, November 25 - Drishyam 2 continues its blockbuster run at the box office. Once again the drop in the film will be less than 10% which is a huge achievement for any film in the second week. The second Friday collections of Drishyam2 will come out to be higher than many big films opening day collections.## The early estimate suggests around 8 crores net on the second Friday, which takes the entire collections of the film to over 112.50 crores net mark. The film is set for a big second-weekend number and it won't be surprising if Drishyam 2 collects better than Bhediya which is visible on day one as Drishyam2 will come out to be on a higher side compared to Bhediya despite being on the eighth day compared to the first day of Bhediya.## The film will see further growth tomorrow and eventually will fire on the second Sunday as this will be the first choice for moviegoers. Box Office: Drishyam 2 First Thursday Early Estimates

Mumbai, November 24 - Drishyam 2 is heading toward another outstanding day at the box office as the film has seen a drop of under 10% which is an extraordinary trend for a film like Drishyam2. Mumbai and Gujarat circuits continue to drive the film while northern markets which did not start on big levels are also doing fine business now which is rare for a multiplex film like Drishyam 2. This could be due to the main reasons recall factor of the film and the popularity of Ajay Devgn in the northern belts.## "Drishyam 2" scores an estimated 8.70 crores net on its first Tuesday. The first Thursday collections will take the entire box office collections of the film to over 104 crores net mark depending on the actual first Thursday collections. The film has cruised past the 100cr mark in the first week which is a huge achievement for a medium-budget flick like Drishyam2 and that too after post-pandemic when many big films did not even cross 100cr in a lifetime run.## The film is already a huge winner but it is set to go to another level in the second week. Normally a well-accepted film does not drop more than 50% in the second week and if Drishyam2 sees a similar sort of drop in the second week then there is a chance of a blockbuster film. Box Office: Drishyam 2 First Wednesday Early Estimates

Mumbai, November 23 - Drishyam 2 continues its victory march at the box office with strong collections across all the circuits. Just like yesterday when the film had a negligible drop of around 10% today also the film witnessed a similar sort of drop which is extraordinary as in real terms the business has dropped due to lower average ticket prices. If we compare the number of admits then there is not much difference between the first-day admits and today's admits.## On its first Wednesday, "Drishyam 2" scored an estimated 9.25-9.75 crores net. A double-digit Wednesday cannot rule out too as the way the film has performed over the last few days these type of multiplex films generally does the highest business in night shows and if night shows outperform then 10 cr Wednesday won't be that hard. ## The first Wednesday collections will take the entire box office collections of Drishyam 2 to approx 96.25cr net box office mark depending on the actual Wednesday collections. The first week business of 100cr which looked difficult a few days back will be surpassed easily due to insane holds over the weekdays. The business on weekdays has proved to be better than the first weekend collections as the weekdays business enabled the film to score the 100cr mark in the first week.## Drishyam2 has a shot at a 200cr grosser from here on although next week will see a big release in the form of Bhediya, which won't harm the business of Drishyam2 due to being an established film with universal appreciation. The Cast For Akshay Kumar's Comedy Film With Mudassar Aziz Locked

Mumbai, November 23 - A few months ago, it was reported that Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar would be teaming up with director Mudassar Aziz for a comedy-drama film, titled Khel Khel Mein. The yet-to-be-announced film will be produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.## While the movie is not yet made official, the makers have reportedly locked the rest of the cast alongside Akshay in prominent roles. According to Hindustan Times, Akshay's "Bell Bottom" (2021) co-star Vaani Kapoor, and also his "Naam Shabana" (2017) and "Mission Mangal" (2019) co-star Taapsee Pannu would be playing the female lead role.## In addition to this, the upcoming movie will also reportedly feature popular Punjabi singer and actor Ammy Virk in a prominent role. Some more actors are also expected to come on board for which the details are not revealed yet. "Khel Khel Mein" is said to be a proper comedy feature with emotional elements. ## The shooting of "Khel Khel Mein" is expected to kickstart sometime next year after Akshay wraps up his ongoing projects. He will also start Ali Abbas Zafar's big-budget comedy actioner "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan", co-starring Tiger Shroff, in January 2023. Ajay Devgn's And Mohanlal's 'Drishyam 3' Hindi And Malayalam Versions To Be Made Simultaneously?

Mumbai, November 22 - Malayalam superstar Mohanlal's suspense thriller Drishyam 2 was released directly on Amazon Prime Video in February 2021 and received critical acclaim. Jeetu Joseph directed the film that was hailed as one of the best thrillers ever in Malayalam cinema.## The Hindi remake of "Drishyam 2", starring Ajay Devgn in the lead role, was released in theaters on November 18 and scored blockbuster numbers in the opening weekend. The movie is on track to become a huge blockbuster and become one of the biggest-grosser of 2022. ## Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Jeetu Joesph is working on the script of "Drishyam 3" and now, according to Times of India, the Hindi producer of the movie, Kumar Mangat has also greenlit the third part.## The report says that, unlike the first two parts, "Drishyam 3" will simultaneously be made in Malayalam and Hindi and both will be released on the same day. Box Office: Drishyam 2 Hits 100 Crores Worldwide; On Course To Become A Mega Hit

Mumbai, November 22 - Ajay Devgn-fronted suspense thriller Drishyam 2 is breathing fire at the box office, giving a rare moment to the Bollywood industry to rejoice.## Abhishek Pathak's directorial has had the second-biggest opening weekend for a Bollywood movie in 2022 with 64.14 crores net in the first three days. It scored a super solid jump over the weekend to ensure a huge weekend.
